Activities and amenities include swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, a 6-acre foraging field and 9-hole Frisbee golf course, bouldering, zen/meditation deck, climbing, psicobloc and more outdoor pursuits than one has time to pursue. Children can enjoy the Ninja rope course with zipline, slackline, and rope swing and petting Biscuit and Buttercup – our favored Kunekune forest pigs. And, Woolly Hollow State Park, Cove Creek Natural Heritage Area, Persimmon Ridge Resort and Greer's Ferry Lake are a short drive away.
We invite you to our little piece of paradise on the Cadron. Bathe in a forest of tall standing pines and oak trees. Sit on the bank of a cascading stream. Embrace nature. We lie at the edge of civilization but we have good cell phone service and water hydrants and electrical outlets for recharging phones. And from March through November hot water showers are freely available.
Our place is a bit rough, rugged and unruly yet we call it home -- a place where everyone regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, political views, religion, or culture is welcomed to come enjoy nature's marvelous works and wonders. Most of our campsites are just yards away from a public swimming area, which is shared between our property and the Arkansas Natural Area. You should expect local traffic at the main swimming area
during your stay.
We have a private swimming area on our property which is just a short hike from the developed campsites (Please ask the camphost for directions).
There are miles of county maintained bumpy dirt roads leading to the site. Expect your vehicle to get dusty. There is a creek crossing that is required to reach the campsites. We recommend high clearance and/or 4WD or AWD vehicles. If you are unable to cross the creek, you will need to park in the parking area and walk across the creek to reach your site.

Electric sites are 30 amp, if using for tent camping you will need a 3-prong converter (we can rent one to you for $5 if you do not have your own). RV/Camper MAXIMUM length is 28 feet.
Tipi rental is a camping experience only; it does not have electricity, a/c or heat. There are solar lights inside. We do have a Queen Sized outdoor bed and bedding available to add to rental for $10/night.
Bunkhouse is a camping experience - bring your own bedding. A/C, heat, electricity, TV & DVDs, Microwave, and Mini fridge are inside. Guests use campground restrooms
Campground restrooms and showers are a short walk from campgrounds.
We are pet-friendly. Dogs must be leashed at all times that they are not in a tent or camper and friendly with other dogs and people. There is a working dog on the property-he is friendly with all people and dogs.

Walter's land is extremely beautiful, I am happy he has it open to the public for us to enjoy. My family and I ended up staying at site 6 as the site across the creek was closed down due to recent flooding. No problem, as site 6 was perfect for me and my family, has a great mix of shallow and deep spots in the creek for playing in the water, the little water fall was awesome as well. Walter is a kind, easy going guy that does whatever he can to keep his customers happy, a pleasure to deal with. Always came by at least once a day to make sure all is well and to see if we needed anything, excellent customer service. All and all I would highly recommend to my friends and family, my family and I will be coming back without a doubt. Thanks once again Walter.

The property was beautiful. Rv Site 12 is the site with the best view. It said it was a gravel pad but there was a thin layer of mud all over our camper spot but that could have been due to excess rain. Camper spot are close to the highway but the highway wasn’t too noisy. The host was responsive with texting and was helpful. The WiFi was unable to reach site 12 but we had enough signal for a hotspot. Overall a nice stay.

The river rises quickly with heavy rain so be aware of that, but it’s a beautiful spot to play by the water and the views from the cabin are top notch. Fantastic campsite! Great swimming holes along the river and up the creek. Super close to the trailhead for the waterfall. Great experience all around. I will say that the creek crossing is best suited for lifted 4x4’s. If you have 4x4 but it’s not lifted, get out and check before trying to cross, I hit a deep spot in the rocks and popped my air ride suspension. Luckily i could plug it with a screw and it got me thru the weekend and home 4 hours away with no issue but definitely freaked me out at first. On the way back thru we tossed a bunch of rocks in to fill the hole. Definitely recommend this campground and I’m sure we’ll be back one day!

My new favorite camping spot! I stayed two nights and didn’t want to leave! Neither did my 11 year old dog! She was playing along the waterline like she was a puppy again, I about cried happy tears watching her🥰we’d be back up at the site (which is a short walk from the lake) and she’d be trying so hard to go back down there. Large open space to park and setup multiple tents if you wanted but also shaded! Great fire pit and yes the picnic table is rundown (one bench side missing) but was great for me to set stuff on. And yes there were ticks of course with the trees and being more prevalent this year which was my least favorite part but also not the hosts fault and still won’t stop me from coming back to this spot! I actually liked the lake feeling too so I didn’t mind the sound of boats/music and planes but also having my own private spot! I could go on and was already trying to think of my next weekend there before summer ends!

Campground has a bike wash, 2 outdoor showers (with an enclosure around them) and large clean port a potties.
The campground has lots of campsites and is exceptionally clean and well maintained

Nice, private spot with easy water access and lots of space for our pups to run. Close to some good hiking too
