Enchanted Ozark Fairytale Camp

Mizzy's place was so peaceful! The sites are far enough apart that it is quiet and relaxing, and the views are beautiful. The dirt road is long, but an easy drive - I have a small Chevy Sonic and did just fine! Mizzy is so sweet and helpful, she answered all my questions, and it was nice to just talk! The outdoor shower was perfect for rinsing off after a day of hiking. She has so many whimsical and adorable decorations! I am already trying to plan another trip down that way!

Love the vibes!

Site 1 - Deer meadow tent spots

We had no problems getting to the site and we're pleased when we did. It's absolutely beautiful! My adult son and I rented the hippy van for 3 nights. We loved the details and vibe of the whole place! We saw deer and rabbits and had a campfire every night. Our favorite was the Tea Party area! Also, Mizzy is amazing! She's tentative and thoughtful and has the absolute best personality and story! Highly recommend staying here for a chill getaway.

Wildflower Stole My ❤️ I’ll Be Back

From start to finish, this was an absolutely wonderful and enchanting experience that I will never forget. Mizzy is an exceptionally gracious host, warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the magical space she has created. The property itself is truly one of a kind, a healing, off-the-beaten-path gem that is well worth every mile of the drive to get there. My only regret is that I didn’t have more time to stay and soak it all in for a couple more nights, as I had to move on to continue my road trip, but I left with a full heart and am already planning my return. This place has earned a permanent spot at the top of my list for my next cross-country adventure. If you are even remotely considering it, just book it. 10/10, I cannot recommend this highly enough!

Solo mama camping with kids

My three young kids, our dog and I spent a few nights in the ‘66 van and it was an absolute dream! Two built in beds with comfortable mattresses and enough space for us to sit and play games in between. I fit great with my 6 and 3yo while my oldest got his own side of the van. Every night we got great sleep! There was even a small fan and lights provided. The van itself is so beautifully designed you can tell so much love was put into it and that radiates through the rest of the property as well. We very much appreciated the clean bathrooms with flushing toilets, the hammocks spread throughout ( our favorites being by the pond and creek), and the well maintained trail adorned with artwork of all sorts made for an easy and whimsical hike just perfect for the kids and still an adventure for me. Mizzy was so wonderful, considerate and a pleasure to get to know! We added on fairy crown crafting and a tea party and had so much fun learning the local edible and ornamental plants and flowers. She had endless patience for the kids and they’d like to return some day just to spend more time with her- I couldn’t agree more! I left this trip feeling totally restored and a little magical myself , which was exactly the goal.

This was our second stay at Mizzy's place. We love our campsite. It's beautiful, quiet, only a few minutes outside of Jasper, and the price is right (and Mizzy is a friendly, helpful host). We'll be back again.

Tina was so so kind and helpful, especially when I had to reschedule. The drive up had a lot twisty roads but it was totally worth it. There were other campers but the campsites were large enough that my friend and I felt secluded and still had privacy while feeling connected. At night you could see so many stars and the sunrise and sunset were absolutely goegeous. The outdoor shower was a wonderfully enriching experience too! Overall, the vibes were very very lovely.

This was an oasis of beauty and healing. I was a solo female camper. Mizzy was a great host and I could see her working to maintain the camp to its beauty. I felt very safe. The hippy van was great. The bathroom was clean and I enjoyed all the special nature decor around the camp. Perfect views. Great fire pits. Loved the drive up the gravel road and back it’s breathtaking. Mizzy is there for you if you need her. Will be back. Thank you for letting me heal my heart and nervous system here this weekend! Peak fall leaves! My beagle Liberty enjoyed it too?

I absolutely loved staying in the container tiny home. I loved that each campsite was pretty private! Mizzy was the absolute best host. I sure hated to leave and cannot wait to come back. The container was decorated so cute!! You can definitely tell this was a labor of love.

Quiet, relaxing, peaceful!

We had a wonderful stay at Enchantment Ozark Fairy Tale camp. The property is remote while only being a short distance from town. The sites are well spaced so even if you have neighbors you still have plenty of privacy. Mizzy was very friendly and helpful with check in and answering any questions we had. She brought a rake to clear up all the walnuts that had fallen from the tree so we would have a flat and smooth spot for our tent. She also brought us a trash can to use. The best part was how quiet and peaceful the whole area was. She is blessed to own such a beautiful piece of property and we're thankful that she shares it with campers like us. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Mizzy is great, she's got a strong free-spirited vibe but that doesn't mean she's all laissez-faire, she's got a strong spine and I bet she's happy to put people in line if they screw around. Not only does she care about her land, she cares about the people that spend time there, and is trying to create a place of peace in the world (and not just for you, dear reader). There aren’t enough stars in the sky for me to give to this stay! Mizzy is a wonderful “fairy camp mother” and the experiences were beyond description! Love the peace and quiet for reflection and even more so the ability to completely unplug from the world and just be one with nature. Pure Magic in the Meadows!

My husband and I just spent a week camping at this incredible spot run by the one and only Mizzy, a true hippie fairy godmother, who has created something magical here. We stayed in the Meadows camping spot and it was absolute perfection. From the peaceful setting to the whimsical touches everywhere, it felt like stepping into another world. Perfect Getaway :)

It was an enchanted experience, for sure. We stayed in the Container Home and it was absolutely perfect. It was nestled away from the other sites with its very own view of the magical tree line. Mizzy is the host with the most. Her presence and energy matched the peaceful vibes of the environment and she made sure we had everything we could need. Her land was absolutely beautiful, with just a short walk to the creek. The road to the campsite was a bit rugged, but small vehicles seemed to make their way to this hideaway as well as 4x4s. Definitely will visit again.

Nirvana

Enchanted is definitely the right word to describe this hidden treasure. My wife and I came to celebrate our anniversary and Mizzy had everything set up for us, our camper and campsite were so cute and tidy. We loved the trails on the property and on our last day we were able to leave our mark by helping Mizzy paint the hippie van!! Such a great experience, we will definitely be back!!

Missy was an amazing host! Very welcoming and great at communicating. The camp was so sweet, beautiful and well, enchanted! The campsites are very well maintained and spacious. Definitely take her up on the extra activities! We had a tea party in the forest, my girls got to dress up with Missy’s big box of fun clothes and costume jewelry. We also made woodland fairy crowns with her and my girls just loved both those experiences! I definitely recommend spending a few days here!

We loved our time here! It rained heavily and we loved it! It was peaceful and the trail was a fun quick little walk in the woods! It’s also nice that there is a clean bathroom as well. Definitely recommend!

10/10 Would Stay Again

Mizzy was the best! Super sweet and answered all the questions I had right away. All she asked was for us to let her know when we were about 15min away so she could give us the tour. The property was very well maintained and felt very cozy. We stayed at the tent camping spot and car camped. Unfortunately, we didn’t make time to check out the trails around the property. But based on the condition of the rest of the property, I would have to assume they were also well manicured and fairy like.
