Our campground, The Highground Campground, is adjoining to miles and miles of Wilderness Rider trails, 5 minutes to Sweden Creeks Falls trailhead, 30 minutes to Hawks Bill Craig, 20 minutes to Lost Valley hiking trails, and 30 minutes to the Buffalo River. Loved the spot and enjoyed the camping! especially the bbq and campfire! The host was very friendly and very helpful Hee got everything you need, you name it and youll have it (probably)! Dont miss the waterfall view during the sunrise which is like 6-7 walk from the camp site! Absolutely stunning but be careful!

I recently stayed at this campground with a large group of friends. We rented the platform site along with a couple of regular campsites. The location is absolutely beautiful, and the platform was a highlight for us. We really appreciated all the shade provided by the surrounding trees, which made for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The campground has bathrooms and showers, which were clean and convenient. That said, with a group our size, an extra shower would have been helpful. Still, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. One of the best parts was enjoying the stunning night sky and the peaceful scenery around the area. It’s a great spot to unwind and connect with nature. We had a great time and I’d definitely recommend this campground to others!

We loved camping on the platform especially when it rained one night during our stay. The grounds were well kept. We enjoyed just relaxing and listening to the sounds of nature. The trail to the waterfall was well maintained and had beautiful views. Bathroom and shower were close by. The host came by to check on us daily to make sure we had everything we needed. We were very happy with our stay here. 10/10

We loved this spot! The host was so kind and helpful. Set us up with firewood and visited with us a while. He has done a ton of work on the property making it very nice. The bathroom was so nice and the outdoor shower was perfect. It was quiet and had its own waterfall hiking trail. The road is a little rough going in but not bad at all. We plan to go back when in the area again.

Beautiful location, nice host who is friendly but also appreciates his campers privacy. Location is amazing. Great place to camp and explore boxley and surroundings, or as a less expensive and more secluded option for riding at wrbr. I will definitely be back!

This was a perfect spot to get away from the crowds but still be within driving distance of several places. Pierce greeted us to check us in, showed us around the campsite, explained how to get to their ONSITE waterfall, and gave us some great recommendations to enjoy the area. The overlook at their waterfall and the opposite bluff is spectacular in the morning and should not be missed, even if you can't see it in the morning. Great place to disconnect and relax. If we didn't already have other items on our agenda, we could have just stayed at the campsite the entire time. I would absolutely recommend their place to camp.
