Nice little spot with good neighbors in the cabins next door. Very peaceful and quiet area near Lake Conway. Ideal spot to take a break for a day or 2 to relax, camp out, and do some fishing. It can be a little tricky if you are pulling a RV. We've been able to get a 32-footer (pictured) but there is a particular way to maneuver in there. Learn more about this land: Keep it as simple as possible on the edge of the woods. Pitch a tent, do some fishing, or just chill and read your favorite books. Our little Lakeview hide-away is ideal for a quick get-away that's not too far away. Even if you forget to bring something, there a gas station with fishing supplies less than 8 minutes drive. 110 and 220 connections.

You can spend the day swimming with the locals at the Blue Hole or floating the Buffalo from several different access points. To finish the evenings, you can grill hamburgers, build a big campfire, and roast marshmallows. Open skies allow for plenty of star gazing and listening to the native wildlife in the area. We have a big, covered pavilion with picnic tables that is perfect for hosting family members and friends alike. Every site is complete with a large charcoal grill and a big fire ring. We offer full hook ups (water, electric and sewer) for both 30 and 50 am service. We also offer a full-service Bathhouse (4 Restrooms and 2 showers on site). Birds are plentiful along the river and you are sure to enjoy the concert that they have prepared specially for you. There's no need to drive too far from Little Rock – in fact, you can find a great campsite just across the Arkansas River from P. Allen Smith's famous Moss Mountain farm. This spot is teeming with wildlife, and you may even be able to catch some fish or watch Eagles soar. Stargazing is strongly encouraged here – under a dark sky, the stars appear big and bright. Please enjoy your stay and help us keep it that way. No parties and no unsupervised minors. We are in the country and there are no fences. You may be greeted by neighborhood dogs. We have never experienced any aggression and most of them are happy to get pet by our guests. If they are bothering you, simply provide a stern, "go home" and they usually will leave you be. It was a great place to park our Airstream BC! Communication was great and the host was friendly when he came by to check on us in the evening. Restrooms are well-lit and conveniently located in the middle of all the sites as is the covered pavilion. It is a small park and all of the sites are in one loop with sites 1-7 being opposite of the main road, sites 8-11 along the back of the property (backed by the most trees) and 12+ are on the same side as the main road. We stayed in 12 which was good, but next time I’ll choose 8-11 to lessen road noise and provide a prettier view. Overall a great stay, we will be back!

Sharita and her barnyard crew were fantastic hosts from the moment I arrived! I enjoyed camping amongst the chickens and ducks. The overall site was better than expected, with everything I needed. The porta potty was just a short walk way and was very clean, and I had access to a microwave and mini fridge, too. It was pretty rainy and wet during my stay, but Sharita was extremely kind and made sure I stayed dry. She even set up a painting lesson in the barn, and I had a fantastic time learning from her! I highly recommend staying at the barnyard and will do so again myself if I'm ever back in the area!

Extraordinary! One of the most beautiful places we have ever camped. The images can do the talking! The site sits directly next to, and well above, the Arkansas River that - at this point - runs directly West- East giving utterly amazing sunsets and sunrises. Tranquil, with beautiful bird song, friendly dogs, electric and water hook-up, super easy access and lovely host. A small but “top tip” for future campers arriving after dark. Do trust your GPS when it tells you to turn into Easterwood Point Road, to access Jones Lane, a mile or so after leaving the I40. It looked so dark we hesitated, worrying if it would get us into difficulty, but it’s the right route and can accommodate the biggest rigs. Anyhow, bottom line, it’s a brilliant rural riverside campsite and sits conveniently between Little Rock and Conway (a gorgeous College Town worth visiting in its own right)

Personal opinion: Site 8 is the best way to go! There was tree shade, and lots of room! We had an awesome time here at this campground. Carl their groundskeeper was very nice & told us a little bit about the place! This is a perfect place in between some of the larger cities around the area. We will definitely recommend to others! This was the second time staying at site 8 and we absolutely love everything this RV and Tent Campground has to offer. We have been able to float both the Upper Buffalo and now Middle Buffalo with a 30 min or less drive to so many outfitters! You have cell reception at site and most of the drive to nearby amenities. There’s an abundance of things to do from multiple swimming holes right around the corner for the non boaters to trails and other nature sight seeing within such a short drive. It’s honestly just a great home base for those who love to adventure in the area! Carl the groundskeeper is always welcoming, helps you feel safe and keeps the multiple bathrooms clean and stocked with good the good TP (no single ply here!). I am excited to see the upcoming additions to the property like the washers and dryers! We hope to return in the fall and look forward to seeing what the mountains and trees look like changing then! Thanks again Casey for such an amazing place to call home away from home!

Sitting above the Arkansas River you have an excellent view of the river from two vantage points. With a large almost 2 acre clearing there is plenty of room to roam.  Magical sunsets and more stars than you can count!  When it's a full moon, you can watch it coming up through the trees as you are sitting in front of the fire.  If you are really lucky, sometimes you can watch the searchlight from the river barges as they navigate the big bend in the river.  If you are a nature lover this place has it all.   Navigate to the entrance here (https://maps.app.goo.gl/GyC2mifqGSaosHSm7) and you will find the main entrance to both sites: Is located near the bottom of the road but actually has two views of the river.  It is very secluded and a little more concealed, which can be good on hot days as there are more trees for coverage.   NOTE: Site 2 can only support tents and small popups. The site will allow for multiple vehicles to be parked, so no problem there.  If you bring any vehicles please do not ride them on the property as they damage the grass, there are lots of good off-road riding to be had in the area. Toadsuck Lock and Dam park are about 30 minutes away, and if you need a big Walmart there is one 10 minutes past that.  There is also a big Walmart about 30 minutes in the other direction at the intersection of Chenal Parkway and Cantrell Road. And if you like hiking and climbing then you cannot miss Pinnacle Mountain State Park!  Climb to the top and get the best views in all the area, 360 degrees views up there.  And if you want something a little less steep, the Kingfisher trail at the bottom makes a nice gentle loop next to the Little Maumelle river where you can see absolutely GIANT cypress trees.  Also, the Ouachita National Recreation Trailpasses just 5 miles from our place, and it loops around the entire north side of Lake Maumelle.  There is a trailhead and parking near North Shore Landing. There are miles of county maintained bumpy dirt roads leading to the site. Expect your vehicle to get dusty. There is a creek crossing that is required to reach the campsites. We recommend high clearance and/or 4WD or AWD vehicles. If you are unable to cross the creek, you will need to park in the parking area and walk across the creek to reach your site.

With 60 acres for your enjoyment and gated entrance, you won’t see anyone else during your whole stay! 15 min from I-49 with Walmarts and gas stations even nearer keeps you close to town. You can choose from multiple campsites, but we will not book anyone else during your stay. Camp right next to the Illinois River under giant oaks, ash trees, and sycamores with a waterfall behind you and the river in front. Or move up the hill and enjoy the 10 mile view (when leaves are dropped) while watching the sunset. Seriously, it’s the best view west of Fayetteville. The deep shade of the campsite with the breeze coming over river keeps the space surprisingly cool even in extreme heat. Feeling fun? Camp in the old dirt mine with 10’ walls around you shaded by a massive pine growing in the center and oaks around the perimeter. Hiking trails have been cut for you to enjoy the property. Make sure to check out “Mini Hawksbill Crag”- a rocky outcropping hanging off the cliff side. Another fun trail leads you up a creek bed with multiple small waterfalls. A couple canoes and kayaks are available to float the river if you desire as an add on. You can go upstream easily in normal water flow! If you’re looking for fun family time with your kids, I will do whatever I can to help you during your stay to make lasting memories. We’re big believers in families enjoying the outdoors together! A truck can be driven to riverside campsite when dry or there is a 100 yard walk from a small parking area. More vehicles can be parked on top of hill which is 5 minute walk. There is a picnic table and fire pit at the riverside campsite. Bald Eagles are seen most days in the winter. Birders will also appreciate the feeder in the campsite. Fishing poles are available as an add on. You can bring your own too! Catch small mouth, large mouth, bream, crappie, catfish, gar, and carp/buffalo, but you’re competing with the neighborhood beaver so be on the lookout for him! Please release small mouth besides a legal keeper is 14" (6-7 year old fish!) and limit of 2. Rear wheeled drive vehicles should park at the parking area by old stable Absolutely no hunting wildlife or foraging mushrooms without prior approval.
