The entire area was pristine! The lounge area with restrooms and showers was fantastic. It was air conditioned with a couch to relax on, TV to watch with snacks available to purchase. The property was centrally located with easy access to the Hot Springs Natl Park. Check in and access was efficient with timely text correspondence. Would definitely stay here again.

5 nights at Ouachita Campground at Edendell

Just spent a week here & it was so peaceful. The hosts were very nice & very accommodating. They have plenty of washers & dryers if you plan on digging for crystals or if you just need some clean clothes. They also have 2 showers with hot water for a nice shower after rockhounding. And if the weather gets bad they have a stove & kitchen area for you to cook. The scenery is so beautiful & breathtaking. Thank you Joanna & Jason for a peaceful beautiful stay, we will definitely be back!

We had an amazing weekend at Travel Lodge! The camping trailer was spotless, cozy, and perfectly organized. It gave us the comfort of home surrounded by beautiful nature. A peaceful escape. Highly recommend for couples looking to relax and reconnect!

Weekend Trip to Valley of peace campground

I can’t brag enough about this spot!!! There are a few miles of gravel road before you reach your destination but they are maintained, we got there alright without 4WD. The site we booked, Creekside Shade, blew us away. It is private, very spacious, it’s right on a GORGEOUS creek, and on the other side is the cow pasture! Plenty of trees and shade, a nice stone fire pit, and large natural slabs of rock by the creek to sun on. The water was so beautiful, blue and clear and cold. The host came to check on us daily to see if there was anything we needed and was so kind. We were visited by an old pup named Annie who kept us company slept by our campfire. I can’t wait to come back and am planning my next trip already. This is the nicest spot we’ve ever stayed and we didn’t want to leave!

Weekend Trip to Pinnacle Springs Recreational Park

Me and the fam decided to go for a little impromptu camping trip and this place was close by and looked amazing! This is easy, no fuss no muss camping! Booked on Hipcamp, got sent a welcome letter with instructions and I saved the pic of a map I found on there. We never had any trouble, toilets around the property were very clean. We brought our own water so that was no issue. The pigs were awesome! We checked them out and gave them some pets. The trails around the place were beautiful. My daughter enjoyed the playground and zip line. We definitely had the best spot.. the sound of the water rushing over the rocks made for the best sleep ever. We even brought some tubes and went for a float. Kudos to the owners for having such an awesome place! Definitely check it out as long as you aren’t a high maintenance camper!

Great little spot close to Bentonville and Blowing Springs. I would not recommend riding your bike on McNelly rd to Bentonville or Back 40 trail head. Narrow road with higher speed cars.

We loved camping on Todd's land! The outdoor bathhouse was great after spending the day on the river/trails. Appreciated being able to use the kayaks. It rained quite a bit, but we had a good time hanging out on the porch.

Weekend Trip to Tin Top Village

Upon arriving at this cabin, it immediately became my favorite. I was in Arkansas for a gravel race and needed a restful, relaxing environment to recharge and recover. In addition to the cutest decor, there were so many extra thoughtful spaces throughout the cabin. I enjoyed sipping coffee on the screened porch in morning. Evenings were spent by the fire enjoying the stars. All the firewood and grilling supplies were provided at no extra cost. I enjoyed all the wonderful reading materials supplied throughout the cabin carefully placed for maximum enjoyment. Vicky even supplied coffee, spices, food and every kitchen convenience. If you enjoy cooking, this place has lovely dishes for inside and even picnic supplies for an afternoon hike. The only time I was sad when I had to pack up and leave. I am already planning another bike adventure so I can get back to this quiet, cozy, cute cabin in the woods.

And if you want total seclusion -- a real "wilderness experience" and are willing to "hike-in" a couple of hundred paces we can provide that too. FYI: If you are unaccustomed to STEEP dirt roads do NOT reserve a site on the island -- sites atop the ridge in Camp Toasty are much easier to access. No traffic noise here! Rather, you'll be soothed by the sound of cascading water echoing off the bluffs -- great for outdoor sleeping and keeping the air fresh and alive. Many of the camp sites are equipped with a heavy picnic table, fire pit and grill, lamp post and level tent site. And if you like to swing -- we have trees! Hammocks and slack lines are the best no trace tree things ever! And although Pinnacle Springs Campground lies in an off-the-grid wilderness setting there is good cell phone service, a water hydrant can be found near the front gate behind the store, and electrical outlets for recharging phones and such can be found on the ridge at nearby Camp Toasty. And from March through November hot water showers are even freely available. Guests are encouraged to explore any of the trails that crisscross the property especially if you like waterfalls, scenic views, cascading streams, and goat trail bluffs. The Tanner Pool Trail is especially popular after a heavy rain, Bluff Trail offers a nice perch for viewing the river below, and the 1+ mile "Circuit Trail" is a great way to start one's day. Our place is a bit rough, rugged and unruly yet we call it home -- a place where everyone regardless of race, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, political views, religion, national origin, or culture is welcomed to come enjoy nature's marvelous works and wonders. We love everyone!! So we invite you to come down to the Cadron and sit a spell. Unwind. Kick back. And enjoy! CELL PHONE COVERAGE: While we recommend that you leave your cell phones at home or packed away we also understand the importance of "staying in touch". Overall cell phone coverage throughout the watershed is pretty good BUT there are a few deep bluff-lined valleys on the creek where one may lose a signal from time to time -- either walk around the bend or to higher ground and you'll usually find a signal. Nevertheless our evaluation: VERIZON - Seemingly good signal everywhere. AT&T -- Good in campground but a couple of "weak spots" both upstream and downstream (taller bluffs). T-MOBILE - Good signal atop the ridge but close to nothing on the creek, USCellular - The worst. Those camping close to store are invited to connect to our local area wifi signal -- CadronBoy. BTW#1: We don't take kindly to folks trashing our property. We are a "LEAVE NO TRACE FACILITY" thus if you bring it, you take it! Best to also leave axes, shovels and hammer and nails at home. Thanks. BTW#2: This is DIY camping! If you are one of those people that has a "hard time figuring it out on your own" we strongly encourage you to stay elsewhere. There are a lot of nice campgrounds in Arkansas that are more accessible, better staffed, and have some really nice amenities.

We do have a Queen Sized outdoor bed and bedding available to add to rental for $10/night. Bunkhouse is a camping experience - bring your own bedding. When working or schooling while traveling through Arkansas, wifi may be a necessity. The Natural State has earned its nickname thanks to the rolling green hills of the Ozark, Ouachita, and Petit Jean Mountains, as well as the effervescent waters of the Buffalo National River—and although these features make Arkansas an excellent choice for hiking and paddling, the landscape can make it more difficult to find wifi and cell signals. When looking for Arkansas campgrounds with wifi, your best bet is to look for large, private RV parks or individual campsites in areas with few hills or near larger cities such as Little Rock, Jonesboro, Fort Smith, Conway, or Fayetteville. Some Arkansas state parks offer wifi, though the signal may not reach the far corners of the campgrounds. National park campgrounds in Hot Springs National Park or along the Buffalo do not offer wifi, nor do the campgrounds in spots such as the Ozark-St. Francis National Forest or the Ouachita National Forest.
