There are several trails that criss-cross the property, and we encourage everyone to explore just be safe and try to give other vacationers their privacy. Our close proximity to the Buffalo National gives you easy access for an awesome experience! South Maumee and Spring Creek access points are less than 10 miles away, and Dillard's Ferry is less than 14 miles. For hiking, the Buffalo River Trail passes right over South Maumee Rd, and leads to several seasonal waterfalls! Fishing is allowed on site, and in the Buffalo River with an Arkansas fishing license. The towns of Marshall and Leslie are close by with good restaurant options such as: Skylark Cafe, and the Red River Cafe. Two of these pull through RV sites are Big Rig friendly designed for a class A motorhomes. There is a private two unit bathhouse with hot showers! This campground is designed to operate remotely through partners like Hipcamp without owners or managers always on site. All check-ins and check-outs will be done self service. The owners have kayaks and life jackets that are available to borrow they ask that you message them before and be sure to return them in good condition. There is firewood for sale provided by a neighboring friend. There are several trails that criss-cross the property, and we encourage everyone to explore just be safe and try to give other vacationers their privacy. Our close proximity to the Buffalo National gives you easy access for an awesome experience! South Maumee and Spring Creek access points are less than 10 miles away, and Dillard's Ferry is less than 14 miles. For hiking, the Buffalo River Trail passes right over South Maumee Rd, and leads to several seasonal waterfalls! Fishing is allowed on site, and in the Buffalo River with an Arkansas fishing license. The towns of Marshall and Leslie are close by with good restaurant options such as: Skylark Cafe, and the Red River Cafe. Blanchard Springs Caverns is a must-see, and at 30 miles in distance makes a great option for a day trip.

Absolutely wonderful camping experience on Ed's land. The most unique part was the camping area was right next to the barn with a small community farmers market. We stayed up late one night with a hankering for ice cream and went right over and bought some. The bathrooms were nice and always clean. We were Tall trees over head, nice amount of space that felt relatively private with trees and fences on pretty much all sides besides the occasional car that drove on the road next to the site.

Amazing spot. They really made sure there’s everything you could need at the site. The river is beyond beautiful. The pavilion had all the extras one could need and more. We had an amazing time and will be back as soon as possible in Spring. I even had a dead battery in my car as we were trying to leave and Daniel came to the rescue to give me a jump start. Best Hipcamp we’ve been to yet!

Great space, good communication, clean bathrooms and showers. There was firewood available, fresh water for drinking. The camp was close to town, stores and most importantly, good riding. Please remember that the facilities are shared and be respectful of them, try to keep them clean for other campers! This is a reflection of the campers not our great hosts!

Weekend Trip to Ouachita River Haven

I stayed in site #14 this past weekend and I loved it! It's by the river, it was secluded. You can still see some of your neighbors but it still felt private. You have your own driveway to your spot. I arrived friday but the next few days I had the place basically to myself. I had my own portable potty and shower so I didn't really use the bathroom the campgrounds had but if you needed to use it, coming from site 14, it'd be a bit of a walk up. Make sure you have adequate light with you. They kept the campground bathroom lit up but going to it, bring your light cz the area is dark at night. It was so peaceful. 2 dogs and a cat came to visit me, each at seperate times but stayed with me for a bit and they were the sweetest pets! You won't regret staying here. At night and waking up you just hear the river. Definitely coming back here!! Thank you.

Really enjoyed our stay at Pea Ridge. Damon was great & immediately offered up his knowledge about trails & things to do in Bville. His campground has a super cute set up with a communal fire pit/grill area & an old school bus full of informational pamphlets and maps. Not sure if every site has its own fire pit but site 8 does. Thankful to find a place that takes larger rigs as our options were limited at 28’. His location is super close to town and only took about 10 minutes to get to Crystal Bridges Art Museum.

We chose the glamping option which I would recommend. When we arrived, our tent was fully set up with a double high queen mattress, cooking and eating utensils, paper towels, toilet paper, and bottled water. Since the weekend was suppose to be cold, there were tons of blankets and even a propane powered heater provided. The site we were at needed a little more tender, loving care as it was a fresh, new site, but was in a beautiful spot overlooking a lovely, blue swimming hole. The sounds of the river/creek and our crackling fire were magical. Due to unforseen circumstances, (and unexpectedly frigid weather that we were not completely prepared for) we had to cut our trip short, but Sam and Michelle were completely understanding. We love visiting Arkansas and the property was beautiful, especially with the fall leaves in full color. I would definitely recommend this spot and would come back in the future. Also, the directions were clear and easy to follow and any questions or concerns were promptly addressed.

This was an oasis of beauty and healing. I was a solo female camper. Mizzy was a great host and I could see her working to maintain the camp to its beauty. I felt very safe. The hippy van was great. The bathroom was clean and I enjoyed all the special nature decor around the camp. Perfect views. Great fire pits. Loved the drive up the gravel road and back it’s breathtaking. Mizzy is there for you if you need her. Will be back. Thank you for letting me heal my heart and nervous system here this weekend! Peak fall leaves! My beagle Liberty enjoyed it too?
