Hikes include balancing boulders and rock formations. Wonderful stargazing, our stars are so bright it seems like you can reach up and touch them. We are a working ranch and do have livestock. Don’t mess with the bull!Firewood, for $7.00 per bag delivered to your campsite. The bags make a great trash bag when empty! Do not bring your own firewood, as we don’t want more pine beetles and noxious weeds. Due to the high volume of people coming in separate vehicles, after two vehicles per site, its $10.00 per vehicle extra per night. We have portable outhouses available.

We are located one mile south of the Wyoming/Colorado border on the west side of Highway 287, one mile north of the rest area. The elevation is about 7,500 feet. Our property, and the surrounding area, is loaded with stunning granite boulders. This outcropping is part of the Sherman Batholith, (just like Vedauwoo to our north), dated at 1.4 billion years old! There are a variety of trees and abundant wildlife and birds. RVs, pop-up and all styles of towed campers are welcome, except Class A motor homes or low ground clearance vehicles. Our house is uphill and far enough away that you won't see us, but we're available if you need anything. My homestead is located on 4 1/2 acres of pastureland that currently have no animals. You will turn on Powell rd to reach the back portion. The camping spots are located on the back part of the property and along a refurbished shed that includes 1 added 30 amp plug; interior electric, clean well water delivery or hose filling in warmer months as well as a separately fenced area for visiting canines (Please only non-aggressive breeds unless leashed at your camp). My Golden has an invisible fence and is not allowed to visit campers unless permitted. Fires are only permitted and shared on the back patio of my home. Activities for fun on site include corn hole, firepit on lower patio along with a propane weber grill. Only 2-3 mile from Frontier Park and an electric bike ride to downtown to tour the museums, restaurants and shops.
Currently, new to hip camp and refurbishing the house and exterior so The Shed will be a working/congregating space with refrigerator/freezer, electric cooktop and indoor space with a fan so folks can escape their cars/vans. Wi-Fi is also available in the shed and the surrounding camp areas toward the building.
This was my dream come true property and I'm looking forward to sharing it with road warriors like me. Weather is forever changing here and clouds roll by fast leaving the most fabulous rainbows. I just ask that no fires of any kind be set at your site because the field is a fire hazard in the dry plains.

Our stay here was the perfect ending to our Colorado adventure. From the moment we arrived, Vicki made us feel completely at home, welcoming us with refreshments and genuine kindness.
Our RV site was perfect, and the entire property felt like stepping into a simpler, more peaceful way of life. My sons absolutely loved spending time with the cats and the dog, and being surrounded by the horses made it feel like a little slice of farm life that we’ll never forget.
One of my favorite parts of our stay was getting to know Vicki. She is such a warm, thoughtful person, and our conversations were truly special. By the time it was time to leave, I honestly didn’t want to go.
This wasn’t just a campground, it was an experience that touched our hearts. Vicki and this beautiful place will always hold a special place in mine. Thank you for giving our family memories we’ll cherish forever. We can’t wait to come back.

It’s a lovely spot per Vicki’s trees and gardens- just know it is close to busy Rte 14 and you are right by the horse paddock. There is a great communal porch with tables and firepit but none at the individual sites. Access to water is inside horse pasture. If you don’t have your own potty system, there is absolutely nothing available there. Vicki is a generous host eager and available to meet your needs including refrigerator space in a building near porch.

Beautiful location with all the amenities! We had a slight hiccup with being double booked but they quickly made up for it and got us a beautiful spot on the river. Thanks to the welcoming Glen Echo staff for a great visit!!

Vicki was incredibly accommodating and nice! Booked it 30 minutes before we got there at 11pm because we needed a place to sleep while moving with our uhaul trailer. She met us at the end of the driveway and showed up where to go. Definitely recommend staying here! We didn't get as much time to enjoy the land and animals as we would have liked but can't say enough about Vicki!

We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely stay there again. Vicki is an amazing host, and her ranch is truly beautiful, complete with chickens, horses, and gorgeous landscaping. In the evenings, we enjoyed sitting around the fire pit, sharing stories, and spending time in Vicki’s wonderful company.

Camping here was great! Our host Vicki was very welcoming, she even went and bought s’more’s ingredients for the kiddos to make around her beautiful fire pit in the evenings! We were very comfortable here for the weekend, and would visit again!
