Matt was super nice, friendly and helpful. His land with a farm-like ambiance worked well for our 2 night stay. Fun to hear the chickens and see their neighbor pony through the fence. The State Park is indeed super close!

We had such a lovely staycation on Matt's land. The location was ideal, right outside of Lory State Park and Horsetooth Reservoir. It wasn't super clear that we'd be in his backyard, surrounded by houses and families on three sides, but we just set up camp facing the open space and tried to forget!

My experience at Matt’s place was great!
Once my reservation was confirmed, he sent a birdseye view of his property to help me orient to the location of the parking area. Then, when I arrived, he welcomed me at the top of his driveway to show me the route to the spot to park. Perfect place, lovely view and a happy little miniature horse next door to greet me in the morning 😍 . Thanks Matt!

Easy access and lovely property. Matt was a gracious host coming out to make sure we made it down to the mostly level area and even asked if we wanted to hook up to power.

Matt was a good host, the property was quiet, horse stable right next to the camp spot, horses were very friendly. Overall a good stay will stay again if I'm back in the area.

Although we showed up in the middle of the night and left in the morning, we stayed long enough to get a good impression. The estate is well taken care of and you may be greeted by a neighbor's horse! The ground was relatively flat, so much so we were accidentally level when we first stopped. We had a roof top tent and had no issues... Matt even waved at us for a conversation in the morning. Checking in on our stay, very courteous! We enjoyed having such a safe place to sleep.

Great spot with super easy access to Lory State Park and Horsetooth Reservoir. We were able to just hop on our bikes and ride right over. Matt was also very friendly and personable, really enjoyed conversing with him and his wife. I’d also like to add we had such an adorable view of the neighbor’s pony and horses. We plan on coming back with our mtn bikes and paddle boards!

Matt was very kind and friendly, the corner was lush and there were many birds to listen to. Several deer made their way over at dusk to munch the open field. They were pretty to watch. Matt had an extension cord ready for quick access to electricity. Right next to Lory. I would stay here again.

Little muddy due to recent rain. Little tight for our 30 ft t travel trailer but we managed. Would be back again if we needed a place close to Fort Collins.
