80 acres with gorgeous views of Elk Mountain, the Snowy Range, Laramie Peak, the Shirley Range, and Como Bluff. A perfect place to get away from it all. You will very likely not see another human, but you will see plenty of antelope and maybe some coyotes, swift foxes, badgers, and jackrabbits. Pictures don't do it justice but it's a beautiful place to enjoy the sky, the horizon, and watching the weather change and roll in throughout the day. Bring shade for the day and warm clothes for the night! Watch out for rattlesnakes!!

Our campground has been family-owned for over 15 years. My husband Jered and I purchased the campground from our Aunt and Uncle in 2019. We have big visions and improvements planned. It is fun to see them all coming together. We are a high desert location so not many natural trees and greens right where we are however with each season we have planted more trees and created more green space. We are excited to be welcoming guests to stay with us! Tents, RVs, and cabins are all available. Any special requests please feel free to ask we will do our best to make it happen.

Beautiful mountain land in the Snowy Mountain Range above Elk Mountain WY with a pond, outdoor kitchen, kitchen has propane grill, oven with 4 top burners, blackstone griddle, and plates, pans, kettles, silverware and cooking utensils. very large fire pit. 2 man hot tub for night time soaking and star gazing . 8x12 sleeping quarters with a full bed in loft and a futon that makes a bed underneath. No inside bathroom facilities. Lots of room for tents or a small RV or pull behind camper. Small zipline and trampoline for kids…or adults. Small dock at pond with patio set for relaxing. Elevation is 9428 ft, and there’s the medicine bow river within walking distance for fishing. The road leading up is a bit rough but if it wasn’t there would be too many people. Lots of wildlife that generally just walk right by you while camping. Very peaceful and private

Neat spot for a cross country trip! I love big private land sites like this and the instructions provided by the owner made it easy to find even in the dark. The weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to explore and the road did degrade a tiny bit by the time we left the next morning, but it’s an awesome spot!

Nice place to stop!
They grade the gravel very often, i stayed 1 night on the way up to Montana and 1 night on the way back. Both spots were almost perfectly level. Sure makes things nice when ur just quickly stopping for the night.
Showers/bathrooms were nice and clean.

This is such a great place to camp when traveling on I-80 through Rawlins.
I have stayed here several times and every time I have been very happy with my visit. The staff are friendly and helpful, the bathrooms and showers are clean and cutely decorated. I know I will stay here again when I come through the area.

Wonderful place and especially good if you want quiet, open space, excellent star gazing, wonderful views. We were traveling on our way to Oregon so couldn’t really get a chance to stay and enjoy as much as I would have wanted (ie walk the trails,etc). Lots of antelope around. Very safe. Also recommended as a place for travelers to stay going along I80.
