Thanks for the great visit to your land! Our dogs loved running around free to explore. They learned quickly to avoid the cactus that are here and there. We loved the isolation, wide open space, and views. The cows were charming company from afar. We had great weather but I can see how it could get slippery if it rains. Beautiful land & visit!

Wide Open Space - All To Ourselves!

Antelope Hill Site 1
This campsite was perfect for us! We were on our way to Mt Rushmore and needed a wide-open place for the dogs to run around. There was some cactus scattered about, but that was not a deterrent. The site was great!
The directions were good. We were able to find it easily in the dark when we arrived. Fortunately the dirt roads were dry and easy to navigate with our RV. However, if the roads were muddy, it may have been a little harder to get there.

Neat spot for a cross country trip! I love big private land sites like this and the instructions provided by the owner made it easy to find even in the dark. The weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to explore and the road did degrade a tiny bit by the time we left the next morning, but it’s an awesome spot!

Wonderful place and especially good if you want quiet, open space, excellent star gazing, wonderful views. We were traveling on our way to Oregon so couldn’t really get a chance to stay and enjoy as much as I would have wanted (ie walk the trails,etc). Lots of antelope around. Very safe. Also recommended as a place for travelers to stay going along I80.

Absolutely beautiful. I came in at night and the early morning fog covered the view of elk mountain so I didn’t get to see that but a bunch of wildlife was out there. I saw a bunch of deer or antelope I couldn’t tell and heard a pack of coyotes. It was very easy to find with directions from the owners. Also very private. Would definitely come back again
