As a family farm we produce a wide variety of items on our property. The property features numerous hiking trails though fields and woods, a pond for swimming, boating, and excellent private fishing areas in the pond and brook; Fishing is catch and release only on the farm property. Barbless hooks are required (you can file them off, let us know we can help). Adults are fly rod only, Kids 1st time fishing spinning rods are allowed but fly rods are encouraged. No is license required for the pond. The Brook requires an CT state fishing license and trout stamp to fish. Never fly fished... don't worry we can help. Check out addons below.

Absolutely loved camping at Blackburn Farm! The farm setting was lovely and pristine. We loved the farm animals and shaded spot by the barn. The site is equiped with everything you need including 30/50amp power, water, picnic table and fire pit. Feels secluded and quiet while being minutes from all the Mystic area has to offer. The host was beyond gracious and knowedgable, providing awesome recommendations for Mystic as well as the future legs of our trip. I highly recommend this stay and hope to return!

Everything was exactly how it was described. I was able to hook up water in 30 amp electric to my camper. The outdoor shower with hot and cold water was pretty cool. It was nice to have the Porta potty so I didn’t fill up my camper. The fire pit was pretty cool. We’ve stayed here twice so far this year. Chris and Tiffany’s property is super close to Mystic restaurant and shops, and the Cross Sound Ferry. The camping spot is private, quiet and peaceful. It is next to the barn with the animals so you occasionally hear 🐑 🐐 🐓 but that’s to be expected on a farm. We are able to plug in and refill our water tank if needed. We will definitely be back!

Grassy meadow site 1 is a shady, level private area behind the barn. It offers a private picnic table, shared fire pit and compost toilet. Road noise is minimal. We had to consider a couple low branches and rocks when setting up our RTT. We appreciated the convenient location and think with a little more attention to the site prep it will be an excellent site. We walked down the trail and checked out the tent platform. This is a large clean wood platform with views of the babbling brook. This is a very private, rustic hike in and large enough for a tent, table and chairs.

We camped at Blackburn Farm for three nights. Water and electric hookup. It was excellent. A secluded spot but very close to Mystic Seaport, USS Nautilus Museum, and other sites. Chris was an excellent host and offered places to eat and things to see. He even provided a extra length of hose after I realized I didn't have a long enough to reach the water spicket. Can't recommend this spot enough. We will certainly recommend this to other friends and family. The only thing I would remind RVers about is the water hookup is approximately 40 feet away and the electric hookup is 15 amp, so not a enough to run your AC. However, we ran our fan and the site is nice and shady throughout most of the day, keeping the camper nice and cool.

There was some road noise but it wasn’t that bad. The site is peaceful. Always nice to have access to water, electricity, a grill and a fire pit. The dog run was also nice to have.

Blackburn Farm is beautiful! It is close to Mystic, has both water and electricity, and the animals are so much fun, too! Chris gave us some great tips for our travels and was a very friendly host that is very responsive! Thank you for a great stay!

We had yet another wonderful stay as guest at KS Joy's peaceful, woodsy spot. Everything you need is there!! Excellent communications and always a welcoming vibe. Bright vibrant morning walks on the beach and for the cold, BLUSTERY rain days, I'd recommend the nearby new American Impressionist museum. Not being a huge museum person, I really did appreciate wonderful paintings and super nice people there. I could go on.....and on... THANK YOU KS !!

Blackburn Farm was fantastic! Chris and his wife were amazing,informative , gracious hosts. The sheep were adorable and Gramcraker and Marshmellow, the goats, were awesome!! We highly recommend staying on Blackburn Farm!! Peaceful, beautiful property and spectacular hosts, you couldn’t ask for better. We will be back for sure!!❤️🐐🐑

We had a great time staying with Sun Outdoors Mystic and look forward to it again. We arrived late but they had our welcome packet ready so it was no problem. The bathroom and shower facilities were well kept and comfortable with great hot water and privacy. We will gladly stay again!

I’ve camped here a few times, I’ve already left stellar reviews so I’ll just post a few pics of tent camping here. Road noise can be a little bit loud at times but it does die down and nature’s sounds take over.

Did Memorial Day weekend 2014, 3 days mid-September 2015. Awesome place. Very difficult to get a reservation peak season, you have about a minute at 9am Sunday 9 months in advance. You have the beach steps away and across Old Montauk Highway the main part of the park which has miles of hiking trails. If you are going to be there a few days invest in a Sunshade, the campsites are almost devoid of trees. Also, as soon as the sunsets moisture from the Ocean coats everything (it dries at sunrise) so keep your tents rainfly zipped shut to keep your sleeping gear dry.
