We had such an amazing stay and can’t recommend this enough! As a British couple travelling around in an RV, this was the perfect opportunity to experience a little slice of American country life, and it exceeded all of our expectations.
From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Their kindness and hospitality really stood out and made our stay even more special.
One of the highlights was having a campfire lit for us in a large area, which made for a perfect evening under the stars. We also loved taking the kayaks out on the lake, the scenery was absolutely breathtaking and so peaceful.
The area behind the barn where we stayed was beautifully secluded and incredibly quiet, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The whole property is stunning, with so much natural beauty to enjoy.
You can really tell this is a place run by a family with genuinely good hearts who genuinely care about sharing their beautiful property and giving guests a memorable experience. We left feeling refreshed and grateful for such an authentic taste of American country life, Highly recommend!

The boating option for the care takers cabin was a great add-on. The kids were overjoyed to use the 4person paddle boat and feed the fish.

We all had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Zichichi Farm cabin in the woods.
Our host, Jessica, was the best, very friendly and accommodating.
She showed us around the farm, showing us all the animals, the property, and later on, we were able to feed all the animals,
Our 2 1/2 year old grandson J.J., had the greatest time, especially feeding the pigs.
The beautiful cabin was set further back in the woods and was very quiet and peaceful, with an awesome porch that wrapped around the cabin, with many rocking chairs of all sizes
We all mentioned to each other what a fantastic weekend we had here and would definitely be back again.

Camping at the pond site on the Zichichi Family Farm was so fun and provided a much needed getaway! They were so so nice, helpful, and accommodating. The site was clean and BEAUTIFUL!

Waking up was like a fairytale!
I want to start off by saying the view was stunning from the mountain. Completely breathtaking! The silence was great! The campsite was spacious and the fire pit was massive (we loved that). The host was fantastic even brought wood to the campsite so we didn’t have to worry about it. Already booked my second stay. The parking at the campsite was tricky not a lot of space to move a Chevy Silverado but we did manage it. 10 out of 10 recommend

Just wrapped up a great 1 night stay at the pond site-
Beautiful spot right on the water with a in the middle of nowhere feel despite being close to many CT shoreline attractions.
Host had great communication and was accommodating- we opted for fresh eggs and also firewood bundles which were dry and on the smaller size which made for easy fire starting.
Very peaceful campsite with shade and trees to set up a hammock but also enough clearing by the water for star gazing.
There was a platform for your tent that was big enough for our 6 person tent with plenty of room for a nice water view sitting area.
I am sure we will be back!

I love the platform for tents camping on the Zichichi Family farm. It was so quiet and peaceful. The rolling water sounds of the brook makes for peaceful sleep. The site was clean and directions were easy to follow.

The Zichichi Family farm was absolutely amazing. The land was quiet and beautiful. The hosts were so welcoming, showed us around the property, and set out fire wood and eggs for us. 1000% recommend, we will be back!

Loved this site! The wooden platform kept our tent off the ground and nice and dry. Check-in instructions were 100% clear and easy.
The pond is super relaxing. You're only minutes away from Mohegan and Foxwoods to wine and dine.
Just ensure you have 4WD... There's two tree stumps to dodge if your vehicle has low clearance but it's easy to maneuver once you see them the first time. My Subaru Impreza hatchback is quite low... Anything taller than that you'll be a-OK.
Would come back if welcomed!

Amazing place with super nice and responsive hosts. Perfect location—five minutes from Foxwoods; 20 from Mystic; 10 from 95 as a main corridor anywhere in NE. Quiet, private, beautifully maintained property and fresh farm eggs delivered to your spot. We are experienced HipCampers, and this is definitely in the top three of places we’ve stayed. We will be back!

So far still the best hip camp ive ever went to.View was superb,entering the place was a little challenging but we love it,feels like a little adventure.Our campervan is front wheel dive but had no problem maneuvering the terrain,all you need is good ability and common sense driving.We love the deck and the fire pit.The reflection of the trees on the water gives us a nice view,importantly place was so serene and very private.We highly recommend this hip camp place.

Absolutely loved it! Even though it rained the whole time we were there, it was still a wonderful experience. The place was peaceful and quiet, with a perfect setup for a fire pit right by the water. They even provided the firewood. The fire pit is surrounded by rocks, making it so easy to sit, relax, and enjoy without needing to bring anything extra.

What a beautiful property. Quiet, well maintained and a Hipcamp gem. Only spent one night but fully enjoyed my peaceful night. Make sure you read the directions about where your spot is. Hopefully you won’t park in the wrong spot I like I did. Sorry
