Privacy and Hiking near New England
14 ft travel trailer · With pets · Very nice campsite! The water and electric hookups worked great, with good water pressure. Finding the site was easy, and while some comments suggested using the second entrance, we found that with the loop drive, either entrance worked well as long as your rig isn't too large to make the turns. We were able to park two 14-foot travel trailers in the space with plenty of room.
We had the entire property to ourselves, with no one staying in the yurt. Even if there had been, other than a shared driveway, we would have had our privacy. The spot was quiet, located along a road that leads only to a state forest and a gun club, so there was very little traffic. A big bonus was being able to walk directly to the New England Trail! We also had good AT&T cell service. The site has a decent amount of shade, though we wish we had parked a bit closer to the second entrance (away from the hookups using longer cords/hoses) because there was more afternoon shade on that half.
Overall, it's a great property, and the host, Rick, was extremely responsive and helpful with all our questions. We will definitely be back when we're in the area!
