We stayed at this place with my partner about three weeks ago, and it was a beautiful experience. The place was just as beautiful as it was described, and we really enjoyed our stay. The only issue was that when we arrived, everything inside was wet, including the mattress, so we had to go out and purchase a new one. Other than that, everything was great, and we had a wonderful time. We would definitely recommend this place!

One of a kind experience!!!

We absolutely loved this campsite! We stayed here with our kids, and they had the best time fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. It was such a great place for the whole family to unplug and enjoy the outdoors. We brought our own tent, but there were also two tents already set up on the site. There is still plenty of space if you want to bring your own tent as well. The campsite itself is huge, with two giant picnic tables that were perfect for eating, playing games, and hanging out. This is a true camping experience, and honestly, it has been the best campsite we’ve stayed at so far. Just come prepared! Bring flashlights, toilet paper for the outhouse, and your own water jug for washing your hands, dishes, and cooking utensils. The community center, where the bathroom and shower are located, is a bit of a walk from the campsite, but we didn’t mind at all. We used the outhouse during our stay and only walked over to the community center when we wanted to shower. The farm stand is also a great convenience. If you forget something, you don’t necessarily have to leave the ranch to get it. And if you do need a larger grocery run, Walmart and other grocery stores are nearby. One of our favorite parts was the nighttime sky—it was absolutely beautiful! We had such a great experience and are already planning to come back next year. Highly recommend this campsite, especially for families looking for a peaceful, fun, and authentic camping experience!

Beautiful, clean and private!

My fiance and I had a wonderful visit to Karyssa’s land! It was our first camping trip and our first visit to Rhode Island, it was very peaceful and private, the tent area was perfect for the tent we brought and Karyssa even provided some firewood to us to start, we purchased more at the stand the next day! Lots of butterflies and sunshine, and the bathroom area was clean and Karyssa was super responsive. We would absolutely come back! It is also pretty close to the beach in Charlestown. Thank you for a great first camping experience!

Great Value, Nice Spot

This is a nice spot, in a good location (20 minutes to beaches!) While calling it "glamping" might be a touch too far, it is a really great value for the cost. The goods: A range of boat options right at site (bring rags/towels to wipe them and the life jackets down at the beginning of your stay), a nice large firepit (bring dry wood with you), an AMAZINGLY LUXURIOUS amount of table and food prep space (if you ever camp especially with other people, you know how valuable some spread-out space off the ground is) and the HOT shower and a real bathroom not too far away are a HUGE plus. The tents that are already set up are nice too.

We had an amazing time at karyssa’s land!! beautiful views great experience with the kids! propane tank was empty but she made sure we were filled up within the hour! already made plans with her about a visit next month with family! the experience was amazing between the canoes the fire pit and the lake experience was amazing!! 10 stars!!! this is something everyone needs to experience!

Cow Springs

We enjoyed sleeping in the gazebo as it was very comfortable and the screens were nice to have since the bugs were bothersome at times. This site felt very tucked away and it was nice to not have any neighbors. The bathroom was also clean each time we used it.

The campsite was great, we especially loved the large stone table. Karyssa left wood in the fire pit for us, and we were able to buy more on site for a good price. There were no other camp sites around us which was very nice. Overall I highly recommend and will be booking again.

Great Space Crafted with Intention

Getaway Treehouse

I loved the whole treehouse vision. Everything was beautifully crafted and maintained. The outdoor shower and water in the treehouse itself was not hooked up but only a short walk to the main bathroom area. And there were plenty of clean water jugs provided. More signage and maybe more info about how to use the generators or simple directions about property and swimming areas would have been helpful but we managed fine. Karyssa was very responsive and helpful. It was very hot in the treehouse during our stay. There were solar fans but they didn't last the whole stay and there was no info on how to recharge them. 2 of the 3 generators were undercharged but the 3rd was fully charged. I did not see that one until the last day, so more info on that would have been helpful and a full charge. (ex. what is acceptable to use with it as to not drain the battery?) I used the toaster oven on one and it definitely drained the battery a lot. I was very grateful for the kitchen items like coffee, mugs, silverware etc. The view of the river was spectacular and being immersed in nature made this stay so worthwhile. I would stay again and recommend to anyone to watch the weather and plan to go when it is mild temp, not too hot. Overall grateful for this space crafted with intention. Thank you!

The site itself was very nice and in a great area with plenty privacy. The things I would improve on is not advertising it as a yurt site. The yurt was just a tent. I also think they should have people just bring their own gear and equipment because the smaller tent in the picture was flooded and very dirty and the bigger tent (yurt) had a hole in it that I had to put tape on. The air mattress in the tent was quite dirty and had 4 pieces of long hair and a spot of blood on it that didn’t look very old. The corners of the tent had cobwebs and the floor had not been swept or cleaned . More focus needs to be put on cleaning and maintaining the sites. The hammock by the river should be taken down between visits as it was soaking wet and very dirty. We still had a great time but I would rather have had the platform empty to put my own tent and air mattress on

Loved the campsite. Its not too far from the main house but also very secluded. Very peaceful and will definitely scratch that nature itch. The host Karyssa was amazing. She responds quickly, let us know of events in the area and was very accommodating. Be mindful that you are near water so definitely bring insect repellent although she did provide a citronella candle which was very helpful. 10/10 would stay again!

Peaceful Camp Site

The host was excellent and communicated very well. We really enjoyed the water front campsite. It was nice to not have to set up a tent or hammock. Very peaceful and private (other than the occasional fisherman rowing by). One of the best camp sites i've ever been on. We were a little disappointed by the grounds of the farm. We made our own assumptions that this would be more of a working farm based off the language used, but didn't experience anything like that. The community center is packed with stuff and not a usable space. The farm store is more of a camp store, in my opinion. Very nice, excellent things to buy in there, but just not the vibe we were expecting. Overall, a great experience. There is amazing potential around the community areas and I hope they're able to utilize that all better someday.

Karyssa was very quick to respond to my camping request. She recommended the best site for my teardrop camper. Her property is very peaceful and private. She sends a video of how to get to your site and even left some firewood. The site was perfect my dog and I, very clean and quiet. We will definitely return.

Cow Springs

Cow Spring was great! Very private and spacious. If you're into fishing, the Wood River is on-site. The bathroom is clean, and the store is very convenient.
