Enjoy rolling hills leading down to a scenic beaver dam. This newly opened land offers easy access while maintaining total privacy—you will be the only campers on-site! The Campsite The site features historic stone walls, a picnic area, a fire pit, and Adirondack chairs. There is plenty of wood available for your campfires. We invite you to park wherever you feel most comfortable; there is ample room for multiple vehicles. Location & Adventure • Casinos: We are located just 5 minutes from both Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun. • State Land: The property is bordered to the west by state forest land. Public fishing and hunting are available nearby, and the main parking area for local hiking trails is just around the corner. Pet Policy We love dogs and pets! They are always welcome to join you on your stay. Note: This is a primitive camping experience with no hookups, perfect for those looking to unplug and enjoy the Connecticut countryside.Rolling hill’s leading down to a beaver dam. Private site with access to hiking trail to nearby brook, easy drive to mystic with lots to do. Scott reached out before our stay to check-in, very accommodating! 4 wheel drive is helpful for the unpaved driveway/access to the main road.

Scott was a great host. He was very responsive and he even provided us some farm fresh eggs. The property was as described and was a very comfortable and quiet place to relax.

We went camping in a tent. It was really great and relaxing. Pretty secluded. You could hear some road noise. We did hear coyotes in the middle of the night which was exciting. There were lots of ticks so bring your spray. If you wanna get away where you can relax and not be bothered by a single soul this is the place to come!

Beautiful Private Lot

My fiance and our two dogs loved camping here! It was super private with plenty of space for our pups to run around. Scott was a very nice host, we will definitely be staying here again when traveling through the area!!!!
