Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Escape to The Zen Campfire, a peaceful private campsite on a spacious country property in Lebanon, Connecticut. Only one group is hosted at a time, giving you plenty of room to relax beneath the stars and enjoy your own campsite beside a picnic table and small metal firepit. RVs, campervans, fifth wheels, and large rigs can park on the property’s wide gravel area, while tents may be set up on the adjacent level grass. The property regularly accommodates large trucks and trailers, with ample room for turning and easy access from the main road. Guests are welcome to visit our Zen garden for quiet meditation, reflection, or a peaceful reading time. This area is personally meaningful to the homeowners, so no food, beverages, smoking, pets, or loud activities are permitted inside the garden. A starter supply of firewood is included. Pets are welcome, and the property offers plenty of open space, but it is not fenced. Please note that there are currently no toilets, showers, potable water, Wi-Fi, or utility hookups at the campsite. RV guests should arrive self-contained, and tent campers must bring an appropriate camping toilet. Whether you are passing through with a large rig or looking for a quiet night around the fire, The Zen Campfire offers a simple, spacious place to slow down and enjoy the outdoors.Escape to The Zen Campfire, a peaceful private campsite on a spacious country property in Lebanon, Connecticut. Rig suitability
Vehicles under 99 feet allowed
A portion of the property is commercially zoned and designed to accommodate large vehicles and trailers. The entrance provides easy access from the main road, with plenty of open space for turning around and maneuvering. We regularly move work trucks and trailers throughout the property. Guests arriving with exceptionally large vehicles should contact us in advance so we can provide the best parking instructions. A spotter may be required when backing larger vehicles into the designated area.
Allowed rigs: travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, pop-up campers, class A RVs, class B RVs, class C RVs, campervans, cars, truck campers, and rooftop tents
The property has a wide gravel access road with large gravel parking area suitable for RVs, motorhomes, buses, fifth wheels, and large tow combinations. We regularly maneuver work trucks and trailers throughout the property, with plenty of room for turning around. Tents may be set up in the designated grass camping area, while large vehicles remain on gravel. There are currently no water, sewer, or electrical hookups near the camping area, so RV guests must be self-contained and use their onboard holding tanks. A spotter may be helpful for certain oversized rigs.
Pull-through site
Enter through the main driveway and follow the gravel road past the house and barn. Turn left immediately after the firepit area, then continue along the gravel road to the designated campsite. Large RVs should remain on the gravel, while tents may be set up in the designated grass area.
Accommodates slideouts
There is plenty of open space for RV slideouts on either side
Surface type: Loose Gravel
Surface levelness: Flat
The designated gravel parking and grass camping areas are generally level. Minor leveling blocks may still be helpful for RVs.
Generators allowed
Quiet, inverter-style generators are permitted between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Generators must be positioned to minimize noise for neighboring properties. All generators must be completely turned off by 9:00 p.m.; no generator or other noise is permitted during quiet hours.
No electrical hookup
No utility hookups are available at the campsite. Limited water and electricity are available near the barn for filling water containers or charging small devices. These are NOT to be used for continuous RV connection. Please arrive self-contained and use onboard holding tanks.
