I stayed one night on Jessica’s property and she was exceptionally kind and helpful. I ended up getting in very late and she went above and beyond to communicate with me and try to accommodate my schedule despite it not being her fault that my time was cut short. It was also the first day that she opened her cute little food stand and I bought some truly delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies that weee gooey and salty and perfect and some fresh duck eggs :). Property was lovely and quiet and as described! Would love to come back.

Great Hipcamp site! Good location for exploring Hartford and Mystic. Quiet site. Slight hill to drive down to get to site. Would definitely stay again.

I enjoyed my peaceful camping spot on Jessica's lovely land. There was plenty of firewood, if needed. I did not get to meet my host in person, but Jessica checked in by text to make sure I was doing ok. Her land is well maintained and the location is close to a State Park and to stores and shopping. The land is on a slight incline and it can get windy. Highly recommend and will make plans to return when it's a bit warmer!

We recently spent a wonderful weekend despite the hot weather. We loved having the spot to ourselves.
The campsite was well-maintained, with plenty of space for us to set up our tent and potty tent. The field at night lit up with lightning bugs was amazing!
Jess was very communicative and very patient with our two young boys. They loved the chickens! We definitely will come back!

The host was very friendly and responded promptly to all my messages, which I really appreciated. There’s a hose available for water, and firewood is provided free of charge.
However, I had an unfortunate experience where a wild turkey pecked at the front bumper of my vehicle, causing some damage. It would’ve been helpful to have a notice or warning about the presence of such wildlife. Also, since the site is essentially in the backyard of a house, there isn’t much shade available.

The communication was great and the property easy to find. Jessica’s parking instructions were simple to follow and clearly stated. The property is a large mowed area with woods-so pretty! I would camp here again.

Host is very friendly and communicative. The land is well kept and the spot is ethereal. Saw a few lightening bugs at night and the birds sang to me in the morning. It felt relatively private with my car set up, the ground was level and offered lots of room to stretch my legs :)

Jessica was very friendly and greeted me warmly. The field where I camped was freshly mown when I arrived. There was a picnic table for my use, and a firepit with free firewood (though I didn’t actually have a fire).
The location was very easy to find. It was also close to Wadsworth Falls State Park, an excellent place to hike.

Nice large pasture setting away from house with picnic table and metal fire pit. Some incline to get to spot and a not completely flat area, but not a big issue. Hose to get water but must bring everything else. Close to Middletown with quiet roads to bike on, nature hikes (Wadsworth Falls) plus plenty of golf nearby. Very good owners!

This place was so lovely! We arrived late, but the hosts stayed up to show us around and offered us firewood. Their property is very beautiful, and waking up to the sound of the birds was just perfect. Thank you guys, 100% will come back!

It was a great place to stay the night! Jessica was very accessible for communication. On arrival, she showed us the different place we could park our camper van and we had access to free firewood too. It was quiet and very private!

It was a very nice spot. Beautiful scenery. There is alot to do around the area. Plenty of hiking and fishing. It was very quiet. The response from Jessica was always within a timely manner and very pleasant to communicate with. I plan on returning to this location in the future. I would recommend to anyone.

Jessica was really sweet and accommodating. My vehicle is pretty tall, so she came out to meet me and show me another entrance where I wouldn’t risk having any branches hitting the top of my bus! Jessica and her partner are so kind! I would definitely recommend staying on their beautiful piece of property

An amazing stay with amazing and accommodating hosts! My partner and I wanted to have a quick getaway with a new truck camper we just bought, and this was perfect. Due to the snow we couldn’t access the proper camping spot, however we were lucky enough to set up in their driveway which was just as great!
