Large screened porches and decks, as well as a small play field and private sandy beach, are perfect for groups. Superb swimming, hiking, cycling, fishing, boating, and relaxing. Kayaks, canoes, and rowboats are provided at no charge. All kitchens are fully equipped, and there are many dining choices in Schoon Lake and Ticonderoga. The lake, with its islands, quiet coves, and river-like inlet, offers many intriguing places to explore. Family-owned since 1950, family-oriented. The gradually sloping sand beach is safe and delightful for children. You may choose to have a campfire near the beach; SunderLand promotes an informal, friendly atmosphere. Sunderland family members are on site to answer questions and make sure you are comfortable. We are near historic Ticonderoga, charming Schroon Lake, the Adirondack High Peaks area, Lake George, Lake Champlain, Middlebury, and Burlington, VT. The possibilities to visit Adirondack sites of interest are endless: river tubing on the Hudson River; visiting the Fort in Ticonderoga; seeing Olympic Village in Lake Placid, climbing any number of High Peaks, shopping or taking a sight-seeing cruise on Lake George, going horseback riding within 15 miles, dining, square dancing, shopping, or enjoying a craft brewery in Schroon Lake.
