Like most folks who’ve been bitten by the water ski bug, I dreamed of having my own lake and when I met my life partner Harald, an elite slalom skier, my search began in earnest. By a combination of good timing and good luck, I was able to make that dream come true and in the spring of 2014 I acquired this land with the hopes of building my dream water ski lake on it. 7 years later, we have a thriving water ski club and are constantly making improvements to the site. We now have decided to add some sites for rent to share this incredible property with others outside the water ski community.
Site #1 is a small cabin that sleeps 3 and site #2 is a small houseboat that has been converted to a bunkie.
Onsite activities include use of a canoe and paddleboard. Use of a kid's swingset and olympic trampoline. Swimming and fishing.
Pets are welcome, campfires are permitted.

Come stay next to the beach!
This beautiful rustic cabin sits on a treed lot with privacy.
The cabin includes a double Murphy bed, we supply all bedding. A Cot is available for a third person. The cabin is air-conditioned, has a small sitting area, fridge, Keurig coffee machine, and heater for the cooler nights in the fall. Firewood available. Washroom facilities include a hot shower ( bring your towels) and composting toilet within steps of the cabin. There is a propane BBQ and a Gazebo.
There is a beach and a public park a couple minute walk from the cabin. There is a 100 km bike trail within a 5-minute bike ride from the cabin. We offer the use of bikes, and kayaks when available and weather permitted. Grocery stores, restaurants, and small shops, are all centrally located within ten minutes from cabin. While you are in town you can watch Lakers and Ocean Boats go through the canal
Within 15 minute is Ridgeway and Crystal Beach which offers concerts, beaches and activities.
We are centrally located, approximately 25 minutes from Niagara Falls attractions like casino, museums, zip lining, jet boat tours, hiking in the gorge and other major attractions.

We had an amazing stay at the cozy cabin! The beach was just 5 minutes away, making it perfectly convenient for watching sunrise and sunsets. Traveling with our 14-month-old, we felt completely safe and comfortable and the space was very baby-friendly. Gisele and Vik were thoughtful and welcoming hosts, making sure we had everything we needed. We made so many wonderful memories as a family and would love to come back again!

We had an amazing stay! The property was spotless, private, and beautifully maintained. We loved the thoughtful touches throughout the cabin—it truly had everything we needed. The outdoor sitting areas were so cozy, and we had a blast playing badminton. The short walk to a lovely beach was the cherry on top. Gisele and Vic were wonderful hosts. The cabin was cute, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The beach, just a two-minute walk away, was absolutely beautiful. The kayaks are fun and the perfect way to get out on the water. The firewood bundle was amazing—packed with plenty of wood, kindling, and paper, making it the best value you’ll find. The area is peaceful and quiet, yet close to lots of nearby attractions. A perfect getaway spot!

- nice host
- electricity as well as full fridge.
- Porta potty was a flush type so the smell was minimal
- watch water skiing from front of cabin and there is nice shade there in the evening
- there is a full screen sitting area with lawn furniture. great for keeping bugs off.
- Fairly quiet site as long as water ski was not taking place
- you can drive up to the Cabin
- The pond is very close to main road to go into town. About 20min away from costo and bass pro shop.
Con:
-Fridge doors opened towards the wall making fridge access extremely limited
- Cabin is tiny. when the couch is pulled out into a bed there is maybe 4 spots you can stand.
- Cabin is "roughing it" I would have brought a cleaner and wipes to give it a quick wipe down before use.
- No walking trails on property
- Porta potty is a little ways away so be prepared to walk if you need the bathroom.
- There is no latch on the Cabin door. either you lock it from the inside or the outside. it makes it hard if one person wants to nap in the afternoon.

Gisele and Vic were lovely hosts! Gisele gave us a warm welcome and let us know about all the fun things to do when we arrived. Vic very kindly started a fire for us in the evening while we were away. The cabin itself is also gorgeous. There's a bunch of fun things to do on and around the property.

What a gem! Very comfortable, and beautifully styled little cottage/bunkie. You can tell a lot of care went into it.
Stay here and you'll be a 3 minute walk (literally) to a quiet beach/picnic spot. The towns are a short drive away for supplies, but far enough away to enjoy quiet, secluded activities like lounging on soft grass under tall trees, cooking on a campfire and clear stargazing.
Gisele's hospitality was wonderful! Before we even arrived, we felt very welcome. Highly recommended if you're passing through the Niagara region.

Our time at Gisele's cabin was very nice. Gisele and her husband was so hospitable to us. They were kind by giving lots of wood and kindling for our campfire after we bought a bundle of wood on the Hipcampers app. They were very helpful telling us where to go for a restaurant to eat. We had alot of fun kayaking and riding their bikes on the hiking trails. The washroom was very clean and the cabin. I will be coming back next year for sure with a friend or my husband. You will enjoy your time just like us. Thank you Gisele and your husband for all your help during our stay for the weekend of August 29 to 31, 2025.

Vic welcomed us when we arrived and was so nice. We happened to book on a rainy day, but everything still turned out great. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our stay. The hosts are so kind, and the place itself is beautiful, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, and everything, including the washroom, it was very clean. Would recommend this place!

My girlfriend and I stayed at Gisele’s in August of 2025, and I can whole heartedly recommend this to others. I’ve travelled the world, and hospitality like this is rare. The care that Gisele and Vic put into this cabin/bunky make it a truly rare gem. The thoughtfulness of every detail is something that is incredibly hard to find.
The accommodations are immaculate and the convenience is wonderful. You are steps to the beach, there are beautiful bike trails to take advantage of, and the property is quiet and beautiful.
I’m approaching 40 now, so the idea of traditional camping is starting to sour. This is the perfect in between from camping, and the full expense of renting a cabin. Keep in mind that the bunky is beside their home, but they are respectful and there is plenty of privacy. The bonus this brings for having power and bathroom amenities makes it well worth it.
We’ll definitely be booking here again.

I would highly recommend staying at this wonderful little cabin retreat!! It has everything including a lovely wooded and private area, a fire pit, BBQ, sink/washing up area, a deck and covered gazebo, a hanging lounge chair, plenty of seating and table, a separate bathroom/shower and even a little shed with an extra fridge/freezer and room to store my bicycle and keep it dry. I also appreciated the extra amenities such as pots and pans, BBQ utensils, lighter, badminton racquets, balls and net, dishes, cutlery, coffee maker and complimentary tea and coffee. The little cabin was quaint and very comfortable and had a/c, a fan, a heater, a mini fridge, a Murphy double bed with good mattress and the possibility of a fold out cot for extra sleeping space. Gisele is a wonderful hostess, friendly, helpful but also respectful of her guest's privacy and very willing to lend bicycles or kayaks. I also loved the area including the beautiful beach just a few minutes walk away, the lovely neighbourhood and the bicycle trails just a short distance away. You could easily bicycle to Port Colborne, the Welland Canal and various beaches around the area. I loved my time there and will definitely be back!!

Me and my spouse recently stayed at Giselle's place and we had a wonderful time. It was our first time to try cabin camping and we had fun! The cabin was very cozy with air-condition, well-equipped with comfortable bed, small ref, dining table/chairs. The place, inside and out was well-maintained, very clean and private. They have composting toilet (clean and odorless) and shower. Everything we needed were provided. We enjoyed our bbq and played badminton. The place is near Crystal Beach.
Giselle was friendly and helpful. She always replied to my inquiries.
So if you're looking for a quiet and secluded get-away, we're recommending Giselle's place. Just 2 hrs away from Scarborough. Thank you Giselle for the nice experience.

We stayed at this cottage for 2 nights and our experience was really good. The area is so beautiful, close to wild, a 4mn walk from the lake, 10mn drive from downtown. We enjoyed kayaking, beach, badminton and Port Colborne is cute. It was so relaxing. The hosts are so welcoming, and we could ask them anything.
We'll come back.
