If you’re looking to completely disconnect, unwind, and experience nature at its best, this secluded campsite is the place to be. Tucked away from the noise and crowds, it felt like our own private slice of paradise. The peace and quiet were unmatched, just the sounds of birds, the crackling fire, and the rustle of trees in the breeze. The site was beautifully maintained. We had plenty of space to spread out, and it felt incredibly safe and serene. At night, the stars were unreal. Waking up to the fresh morning air, was exactly the kind of reset we needed. This place is everything a campsite should be – peaceful, scenic, and unforgettable.
We’re already planning our next trip back. If you’re lucky enough to snag a reservation, don’t hesitate. Just go.

This was a very clean, peaceful and quiet cabin. It felt very secluded, safe & it was so cute & clean and smelled so nice. Cleanliness is important to us, and it was extremely clean and tidy! I didn’t see a single spider or bug inside the cabin, Dishes, utensils, bug spray, garbage bags, paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap, a fan, pillows & blanket and even body wipes were provided. It was REALLY HOT when we stayed in this cabin. Thank goodness for the screens, generator & fans! Fuel for the generator was provided. The cabin was very, very clean. The futon/bed was very comfy. We were very happy with the accommodations. The port-a-potty was clean. The host was very good at communication. Our only suggestion for enhancement of the experience would be that there was a rusty barrel over flowing with stinky garbage, and with all the heat it smelled terrible. (Maybe move it further away from the cabin so guests are not tempted to leave their garbage behind.) Not a deal breaker, and we would definitely stay there again. Also, (minor, but…) it would have definitely enhanced the experience if the woody area where the fire pit is had been cut & maybe weed wacked.. The woods were BEAUTIFUL, but the area where the firepit is was really over grown and kinda swampy. Just giving improvement suggestions. Not deal breakers at all. Even with those 2 things mentioned, do NOT let those deter you from renting this cute little cabin. We would highly recommend! Giving 5-stars! *****

Weekend Trip to CHERRY VALLEY CHILL
Troy's property and set up was PERFECT for what I was looking for. My dog and I fully enjoyed the grassy field and fire pit, and the indoor accommodations provided everything we needed for a quick "camping" adventure on our long roadtrip. I may even plan my return route to stay here again.

I stayed at this off grid cabin as a stop over on a long trip to visit family. It had everything that I needed, and also lots of things that a couple and/or people staying longer would want - games, insect repellent (I always keep a bottle in my car, so I didn’t need to use the supplied insect repellent)and a generator (which I didn’t need for my short stay) that could power lights, fan, etc. The location was quiet. And it’s set back from the road, ensuring privacy. I got on the road early, before dawn, and within a mile of the cabin I saw wildlife: a deer, an opossum, and a skunk. The host responded promptly to questions.

We had an amazing time at the Country Cabin. If you are looking for privacy, farmland, and a relaxing trip- this is the place for you!
The cabin was updated and clean. The outhouse was nice and clean as well!
Would definitely recommend, and look forward to coming back.

This was such a great long weekend away. The weather was VERY COLD AND RAINY, but we were kept so cozy and warm in the cabin with a comfy bed and heater. We also would never have been bored with the amount of things to do on Angie’s property from trails, to fires, to music, to the hot tub, and more! It’s also sooo conveniently located to Lilly Dale and lots of hiking, and there’s a dollar general just up the road for anything you forgot!! Angie is so hospitable, and has thought of everything you could need for a glamping experience. When on Angie’s land, you feel like you’re part of the community, and it’s really special. We definitely want to return, ideally in warmer weather lol!!

Words can’t explain how perfect Cherry Valley Chill was for our family! Troy let us know everything we needed to know before arriving, and was great with communication during our stay. His wife Danelle welcomed us when we arrived, and she was so kind. We had a fire started and special touches throughout that made our trip better than we could have imagined.
There was plenty of space in the cabin area for two people and two dogs, and easily could fit more too. There is a platform that fit our queen size air mattress perfectly, as well as two bunks that can be used for additional sleeping space or storage. It was chilly and rainy for our first two days but with the wood fired stove we were warm, happy and dry. The provided wood was the perfect amount for our 3 night stay, and Troy reached out to ask if additional wood was needed so it’s nice to know the option is there! The counter space is great, and we also brought our camp kitchen that fit with plenty of room to spare by the door so we could vent while cooking. There is a cooler built into the countertop, as well as a black stone outside too, we didn’t use these as we brought our own as part of our usual set up. There also is a nicely sized hammock that we didn’t get a chance to break out, but it looks so comfy! They have solar hooked up to lighting inside and outside of the cabin as well as the toilet area and the short walk there. The toilet is simple but clean and spacious. You can tell this place was built with love.

Super private space, Alan & Chris let us know ahead of time that it was going to muddy so that we were prepared. We able to make dinner on the fire and thankfully the rain stayed away. Outhouse is super accessible to the cabin as well.

We loved staying at Troy's shelter (almost a cabin)! At a one hour drive from Cleveland, the shelter was well furnished with chairs, firewood, a blackstone (for rent), and sleeping platforms which made for an easy to set up weekend retreat. Troy and his family were so sweet and showed us their chickens, turkeys, and goats! We joked we need a monthly membership for a regular retreat! 10/10 recommend!

The cabinette was a perfect location for exploring Lake Erie in Ohio and PA. It was roomy, and we appreciated the late checkout. Unfortunately we stayed on a cold May weekend and discovered at 8pm on our first night that there was no propane for the heater. Dan did refund us $50, which was appreciated. Also none of the several battery operated lanterns worked, luckily we had brought our own. He mentioned a propane cookstove, but it must have been in one of the lofts. The place was clean, except for some nasty brown liquid in the freezer drip tray. The grass was wayyy long and needed weedwhacked along the driveway and around the cabin.. Despite the drawbacks, the price was reasonable, and we would stay again

Weekend Trip to CHERRY VALLEY CHILL
I loved everything about this stay. The cabin was very roomy with the addition of sliding barn doors which were my favorite part besides the wood burning stove. The property has a nicely maintained yard that my dog really enjoyed playing in. There were tractors working in the fields on the left and right of the property so at times it could be a bit noisy. The bathroom was very spacious and clean as well. There are lights inside and outside of the barn powered by solar so it was nice not to have to use a flashlight or lantern after dark. Friendly host as well, stopped by when I arrived to show me around and she ensured I was taken care of during my stay. Would highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to CHERRY VALLEY CHILL
I would highly recommend Troy’s cabin for an extremely pleasant “get away from it all” great camping experience!!! The cabin is spacious, very very clean, cozy and it has such a special ambiance with the soft lighting and the wood burning fireplace!
We brought our own portable mattresses which fit perfect on the beds and even though it rained almost the whole day we were able to stay nice and dry and warm and with the sliding doors open we could see all of the beautiful countryside around us.
Also loved how we were welcomed by Troy who had even started our first fire for us!
It was nice to have the gas grill right outside and we made some great meals and enjoyed them sitting at the picnic table and the great wooden countertop with the high bar stools.
We had lots of privacy all around us and yet it was nice being close to Andover for a quick grocery run or a bite to eat in town.
Looking forward to our next stay there!
Definitely recommend Cherryhill Chill!!!

Weekend Trip to Country Cabin
This cabin was such a lovely getaway! My husband and I had a wonderful time enjoying the peace and quiet while soaking in the beautiful sunrise and sunset over the land. The outhouse was in great condition as well! The only slight issue we ran into was the firewood being rotted and pretty damp but even then we were able to get a fire started and stay warm. I definitely recommend staying here and hope to come back sometime soon!
