Flannel Dog Farm is a seven acre homestead on the site of an original 1860's farm. Here you'll find sheep, chickens, ducks, and dogs as well as a variety of wild animals and birds, native pollinators, and fields of wildflowers. Camping and lodging options include a large open camp area, a tiny house, and a covered wagon. Chris Zielski and Alan Block are the wife and husband team that steward the farm. Chris is a metal artist and has a beautiful onsite studio for her business, Copper Leaf Studios. Alan is a sourdough baker, gardener, and fermenter. In addition to Hipcampers, Flannel Dog Farm hosts art shows, classes, and retreats. Much like our farm's name, our place is warm, welcoming, rustic, and a little bit gritty. We believe in inclusion, community, and sustainable living. We love telling and hearing good stories. And, we love to share our part of the world with others. Message us if you have any questions!

Farm Stay Tent Camping

Wonderful place, really peaceful. Chris and Alan are kind and the breakfast is amazing - the bread is the best I had in a long time. I would go back anytime and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Peaceful stay and amazing breakfast

We really enjoyed staying at Flannel Dog Farm. My dog and I slept in the tiny cabin and my friend stayed in the covered wagon. The mattresses were so comfortable, everything was neat, cozy, and clean. The bathroom was also awesome - nice to have a real sink and toilet! It was fun to relax in the morning and eat the delicious breakfast prepared by our gracious hosts. The farm is very peaceful. The animals on the farm were also so cute! I can't recommend this place enough and would love to stay there again someday.

Farm Stay Tent Camping

Beautiful farm with amazing hosts

First hipcamp experience and it was wonderful. Alan and Chris are so nice and welcoming and the property is absolutely stunning. An extremely gorgeous farm with many types of animals including sheep, ducks, chickens, and wildlife including many kinds of birds, a snapping turtle, rabbits, etc. I even saw a great blue heron! Would recommend and stay again if I am ever in the area again

Peace Portal Tiny House

We enjoyed our stay on the farm. The tiny house was just enough for my husband and puppy. We were entertained by the sheep, chickens and ducks. Also, the sourdough bread and granola were amazing.

Covered Wagon

So much fun!

The covered wagon is just like its description and more! The entire property was fun hanging out with the hens and exploring the area! I’m a YouTuber who explores campsites throughout pa, Ohio and Ny and this by far is one of the best! Breakfast was awesome and the hosts were great! I would recommend staying at one of their sites you won’t regret it👍🏼
