All lodging sites have heating for your comfort and are available year round! The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim). In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience. The Monguap River is close enough to be seen and heard from the cabin, but the adventure of getting there is half the fun! The Delaware River is only 2 miles from our location, and River rafting is a big business around here. A small artesian-fed creek runs right next to the cabin. It lends to the relaxing sounds of water with many quaint spots for you to dip your toes into, paired with a wood-fired tub that feeds off of the stream, which can only be explained by experience (weather-dependent). Our hot tub also pairs beautifully with our newest addition to the cabin, our sauna! Perfect for a cold plunge afterwards (more information in the add-on description)! A queen temper-pedic bed and super comfy overstuffed futon will assure a good night's slumber. The Record Room's covered outdoor kitchen is designed to extend the awesome vibes into every meal.. (I.E., Flat top grill, single burner, and stainless grate grill all powered by propane, cast iron frying pans, and utensils). Our outhouse is designed and maintained by the women of the family, and great pride is taken in making it a favorable experience. A small wood stove heats the Record Room on chilly mornings and nights. If you're looking for the fine line between camping and glamping, this is your place! We recommend having some prior camping expertise, and we must mention that there is no WiFi/ service. We have a few spots available for your friend circle to pitch a tent and enjoy the experience with you! A basic convenience store can be located three miles to the right of our property with all your basic needs (including gas). For your grocery shopping, a small family-owned market can be found within 10 minutes up the road. If you're looking for activities, there are plenty of rafting/canoeing/kayaking companies for your enjoyment. This cabin has been in my family for over 40 years, and we love to share it's charm with the world! Sleep like a log in our one-room charming cabin on a small private lake lot with non-motor boats only. Little Elk Lake is 43 acres. Queen bed with linens provided, plus 2 adult cots with pads and sleeping bags. Rowboat plus 1 youth kayak, two adult kayaks and a canoe are available for your use, and we have life jackets in many sizes. We are sorry but the pontoon boat cannot be used by guests. The fishing is EXCELLENT and bring your binoculars - BALD EAGLES frequent the lake! We want you to have so much FUN during your visit, but we are not a party spot. The lake is rural and quiet, and so we must request low noise levels after 10 pm in order to keep our neighborhood HAPPY! :) We welcome everyone, including the LGBQT community and folks from all ethnicities. You'll feel like you are coming home to a safe haven and all guests will be treated with kindness and respect here at Sunset Shore! Don't waste one moment of lake time! We LOVE plants. Our favorite garden center, located 30 minutes away in Tunkhannock, offers many fun garden, craft, and decorating activities each weekend. They raise thousands of BUTTERFLIES which you may visit or if you're lucky they may have a butterfly release scheduled when you are here. In late summer you may even purchase a cocoon that's ready to hatch!

A great spot to come and camp high up on a hill. Pitch a tent and enjoy the solitude of camping in the middle of a hay field, under a huge oak tree. In the middle of farm country. The kitchen space and bed set up was much appreciated and allowed us to focus enjoying the stay itself. The owners were super helpful getting us setup and providing a welcoming space. Bring layers and everything you need to keep warm in the winters - we even caught a light snow storm on our morning of departure! would come back again.

2 nights at Wurtsboro Ridge Retreat

This cabin was exactly what my partner and I were looking for for a quiet two-day retreat that felt outdoorsy without all the work of true camping. Space heaters and a woodstove kept it fairly cozy for cold November nights, and there was a ton of wood available for the outdoor firepit. We enjoyed exploring the collection of board games and CDs inside, plus outdoor badminton and frisbee under the lights. Beautiful clear stargazing, and easy driving distance to some great hikes.

The Cabin with No Name exceeded every expectation we had. The awesome book selection, incredibly comfortable bed, the amazing shower, the vast land of trails behind it all paired with quirky/cozy decor are only a few of the warm takeways from this experience. Kat swiftly responded to us and answered all our questions promptly. We enjoyed it here so much we decided to extend our trip in the middle of it. Weekend Trip to The Record Room

We stayed at the Record Room Cabin this past weekend and absolutely loved it! The hot tub with warm water and hot tub made for such a unique experience — truly unforgettable. The sense of privacy and peace was perfect, and the vinyl record collection was just incredible. There's even a magnificent pool table under a canopy with a view of the forest – a truly stunning sight. I agree with all the comments above. This is truly an amazing place! I really hope to come back again!

3 nights at The Record Room

My sweetheart and I had such an amazing time at The Record Room. We stayed for 3 nights and we wish we had one more! It was a cozy getaway that felt timeless. We loved setting the vibe with the records, dancing in the living room, and just enjoying some slow, peaceful days. It was cold when we went and one day was particularly rainy, but there is a lot to enjoy indoors and the fireplace kept us warm and cozy. One thing to note is that the wood provided is rather thin and burns fast. For this reason, heating the hot tub and keeping the indoor fireplace lit is a JOB! We had to add every 15 minutes or so. Our recommendation is to start early on the hot tub and bring some of your own logs as well - even better if they’re the big fire-starter ones. Overall it’s a special place. Masen and his family are great hosts and we hope to make it back again someday.

We loved our stay at Kat’s land in her cozy and quaint cottage. It has the perfect layout for sleeping, relaxing by the fireplace, making food (and roasting smores!) We couldn’t have picked a more perfect time to visit - the fall colors were on full display. I selected to have fresh eggs and two bundles of firewood which was very convenient. The beds were comfy, there were plenty of fresh towels and blankets for all. We loved how stocked the bookcase was with books and games for all ages! The best part of the cabin was getting to hike down to the small creek and trails. It was just perfect and the whole house is quite convenient to town. We enjoyed our stay!

We hiked to waterfalls, played games by the fire, and soaked in the fall scenery along the river.
