This is a great place for couples, families, or a girls trip away from it all; it's also an LGBTQ-friendly environment! This is a very unique experience if your interested in visiting a diverse organic farm growing a large variety of local vegetables in season with opportunities to take part in events, volunteer opportunities and educational experiences. About the Space: Nestled beyond the wildflowers and trees of our 50 acres in the rolling hills. Our land is on a dead end road which means you will enjoy a peaceful vibe in the country side. Extend your stay into the week and experience the beauty of life on a farm without having to lift a finger. Foragers Farms is a thriving community of kindred spirits interweaving our love for the land to produce beautiful fruits, eggs and veggies for the surrounding area. If you’re looking for a place with a nice feel and good buzz this is it! Alternatively stay the weekend where the hustle and bustle comes to a halt and become immersed in nature with access to trails and open fields are awaiting you! Animals are welcome but keep in mind this is a farm and there are animals who also live here. Goats, horses, chickens and dogs. Please keep your animal on a leash when not supervised or going for walks around the farm. The cabins are meant for those wanting to turn off their phones and delve deep into relaxation. Bring a book, star gaze, sun bathe, meditate or pull out the laptop and plug into to electrical and wifi to get the job done. Included: - We have two cabins both nearby one another. One is a double bed and the other has two single beds with all bedding provided - Access to a clean compost toilet/portopotty. Toilet paper provided. - Nearby the portopotty is a hand washing station which is also where you can wash any dishes you might need to. - Drinking water from a beautiful well (from the hydrant near the porto potty) - Internet is available. Ask when you've been booked! -Electrical outlet -Outdoor solar twinkle lights and a rechargeable night light for inside. -Outdoor kitchen minimal supplies: double burner propane stove, pot, pan, French press, cutlery, mugs, plates, bowls. Please bring the rest for yourself. Encourage you to bring your own cooler with icepacks. Keep all food hidden from on farm dogs (especially chocolate). Not Included: -Fresh veggies, bread and eggs available for purchase from our farm store, or volunteer and get some in exchange. - If you plan to bring groceries, please bring your own cooler and ice! - Extra blankets, adequate bedding is provided, bring extra if needed. - Sunscreen and mosquito repellent - Firewood (ask to buy some as we have some on site) -Excessive waste management, small garbage bag available, bring additional garbage bags and take with you for longer stays Please read and sign the waiver inside the cabins upon arrival.

This MICRO cabin hide away becomes a perfect home base to unplug, relax, read, cook over a open fire or close enough to explore the area. Our cabin is perfect for the camper who enjoys, and is familiar with camping and the outdoors! We offer rustic, with a bit of extra glam to your camping experience! Although the cabin is insulated, and there is a small realistic looking electric heater...in the cooler months it only takes off the chill. You'll want to pack warmer clothing for the cooler nights. You'll find a lovely outdoor stone firepit with a grill to enjoy cozy campfires or to cook on. The site is provided with a picnic table/umbrella, rustic outdoor furniture, and a clean, simple outhouse, also a small outdoor kitchen and hand washing area. Propane stove and propane is provided. Inside the cabin there is a jug of water for your morning coffee. Coffee maker, mugs, plates, utensils are provided There are 4 single foam mattresses that make up a single bed, or three 4 double foldout foam mattresses to accommodate two. We are 5 minutes to the quaint town of Norwood, and minutes to Hastings Trent River's fishing adventures! We are close to all the needed amenities. Although there is some wood to use, we encourage our hipcamper to pick up 2 bags of dry wood as may be damp. Jacks Cabin was a perfect cozy cottage in the woods. Beautiful property and plenty of classic board games to play by fire light. The wood stove kept up very warm throughout the night. The only con is the outhouse has a window but no curtain. Its a small critique but worth mentioning. We greatly enjoyed our stay and would recommend anyone looking to get away for a quiet weekend check out this property.

Wonderful place for weekend getaway! Excellent privacy. Have garbage cans which is a huge plus. Most sites don’t offer them. Well decorated washroom, with sink and water. Off leash friendly, our dog was very happy. Most importantly there is this beautiful pavilion, with lights at night and big enough for at least 10+ ppl. Everything is just perfect.

Natalie's bunkie is a truly magical place! The cabin itself is so cozy and thoughtfully provisioned with everything you could need all season round, from practical supplies like cutlery and cookware and a wood-burning stove to keep you warm on cool autumn nights to board games and paperback books and even a portable DVD player for makeshift movie screenings, if you can peel your eyes away from the view of the starry night sky. The bunkie sits on a scenic body of water and a waterfall that make for great canoeing and swimming or admiring over morning coffee, and the rest of Natalie's property is bursting with whimsical art installments as well as gardens, fire pits, fairy lights, and fields of flowers. My partner and I have visited twice - in the summer and the in the fall - and have found each season and each stay so uniquely gorgeous and relaxing. If you are looking for a place to retreat from the noise of the world, the bunkie is perfect. Natalie is so warm and welcoming and has put so much care and attention into providing people with a home away from home.

From the moment we arrived, the hosts welcomed us back with open arms, making us feel right at home. The magic of this place is all thanks to the incredible hosts who treat every guest like family. We had a great time visiting with the farm animals and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of their barn. The provided firewood was a thoughtful touch that made our nights around the campfire so much easier. This location was everything and more that was described. The lot was bigger than expected and the setup was amazing. While it was just the 2 of us there were many little spots within our site to sit and take in the nature around us. From the bumble bees to the massive amount of birds to the amazing beaver. The spot was very well stocked. We definitely over packed. My only complaint was we weren't there long enough. We will definitely be going back.

Sit by the pond, sit by the creek, sit in the waterfall, sit out at Blueberry Hill for a pleasant breeze or up on SunStar Ridge for some nightly star gazing or lay back in a hammock or on zero gravity chairs 1 Bunkie on a hill overlooking the pond and 2 private tent sites, one at Boot Hill and one in the Field of Dreams. Each site has a fire pit and a compostable toilet and there is a compostable toilet in an outhouse on the property for the bunkie. Great for canoes, kayaks, bird and wildlife watching with spectacular star gazing. This property was part of an old homestead and as such I am still finding things so please respect the caution tape. Some finds are treasures (European Grapes, Bergamot, French Roses, Asparagus, Rhubarb, Ramps, Fiddle-heads) and others not so much. I am re purposing what I can and collecting the rest for disposal as I nurture this land back to what it was meant to be, paradise. There is an outdoor shower available as well. The Kountry Korner is a cozy part of our families working farm . Goats and chickens roam the property living their best life. The property consists of wooded areas, fields and a 12 acre private lake. Firewood available $15.00 bundle 5 Dry tent sites available with level gravel bases. These are located in the woods. Starting at $35.00 per 4 people. Parking at site. Potable water and showers available at office. 3 Dry RV sites available. Starting at $40 per night. These are not pull through sites. Reversing is necessary. Don't let that stop you though, assistance is available. Level grassed area, picnic table and firepit. Dry means No hook ups at sites. Water available at office. Outdoor shower at office. Our land is very private and beautifully sheltered by trees all around the campsite. There is an open field as well that also has trees on the outskirts. A video is available upon request! Fenella is a small village about 7 min away that has a large convenience/ grocery/Beer store as well as gas stations and Canabis beyond belief ! Go carts, food trucks and the best Butter Tart Factory as well! Warkworth is a town east of us about 20 min and Cobourg is 20 min South of us. Many shopping experiences available. Primrose Donkey Sanctuary is down the road a few minutes which we highly suggest visiting. Look their hours up before planning a visit! We have easy access up our road about 1 km to the Northumberland Trails where you can ride your horses, cycle, ride your ATVs,walk or jog. We have goats and can provide goat walks on our own trails. Goat walks are about 30 minutes generally and $15 per walk. Our own Free Range eggs are available for $7/doz as well as firewood for $10 per bundle Dogs are welcome as long as they are constantly on a leash, as we have chickens that free range! We ask that you bring your own water and hydro please. We hosted 35-40 endurance horses and their riders in August of 2022! We welcome tents and all trailers!
