Relax and unwind for a few nights at this nature surrounded hill located just outside Campbellford, Ontario. Our spacious sites atop offer panoramic views of forests and neighboring farms, secluded from the rest of the property. Enjoy the beautiful outdoor amenities like Trent river, Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge, Ferris Provincial park, Seymour Conservation Area with miles of hiking trails, biking or fishing just steps away ! Beautiful Campbellford - only a two minute drive away - hosts lift locks, canals, river, cinema, historic buildings, quaint restaurants and shops in case you want a dinner out or to restock on camping supplies. There are also 3 craft breweries in the area, as well as a quarry for swimming. Amenities: * table and chairs * fire pit * on site access to porta-potty and outhouse * one free load of firewood ( extra available for $5) * 4L bottle of spring water

Site 2 is located in the center of the mountain overlooking picturesque rolling hills. The site includes space for two tents + two cars, or a camper van. There is a fire pit, table and chairs, 1load of fire wood, and a garbage can. Porta-potty is next to site.

I really enjoyed camping on Valerie’s land while I visited the nearby (Peterborough) Canadian Canoe Museum. Valerie was a gracious, kind and friendly host.

We stayed at Valerie’s campsite for one night in August, and honestly, it was one of the best camping experiences we’ve had in Canada. The view was just stunning! Valerie was super kind and helpful, and she made sure we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back in the fall!

We had a great time camping on Valerie’s land. Valerie was extremely easy going and hospitable. We had an excellent campfire with an amazing sunset over the hill, great views! Very quiet, there was one other person staying a few sites over, not completely private but we parked in a way to make it more private, it was really a great little spot. Very close to a giant tiger and Ferris provincial park. Tons of fireflies! I wish I could leave photos to show how gorgeous it was! :) Would definitely recommend.

Valerie was a lovely host, very kind, informative and also gave me privacy during my stay. The sites are in a beautiful setting looking towards a tree covered Hill. All of the sites are well equipped with fire pits, tables and chairs (a nice change from a picnic table) but quite close together with little privacy in between. If the sites were full it would have been a lot different, but since I was alone it was great. It's close to 2 busier roads so traffic sounds were audible. A beautiful setting close to lots of amenities, places to visit, and activities in and around Campbellford. Thanks for a great stay!

Valerie was so kind all the time ; however, my boyfriend and I we couldn’t enjoy the camping because started to raining and we couldn’t sleep in our tent , he had to pick up everything faster and go inside the out car. But overall the place is very harmonious and the view is nice. 😊

Great location, minutes from town. Very light traffic noise. Great sites with lots of space. Nice grassed area. Firepit on each site. Good area for stargazing.

Valerie was very kind to welcome us to her site on short notice. She was able to provide us with a nice, flat surface to park our campervan, despite her usual campsite being inaccessible due to snow and ice.

Stargazing in Trent Hills

Valerie was a fantastic host and we really enjoyed our time there on a couple chilly October evenings. Setting felt very private, great fire pit(s) beautiful views, and perfect for stargazing. A lovely time, on a lovely property, hosted by a lovely person! Valerie also has firewood available for $5 a bag, well worth it. There is also a Home Hardware and Giant Tiger about a minute drive away or a brief walk if you have forgotten any provisions. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks again Valerie; we hope to see you soon

Great place ! Wonderfull experience .... Valerie was a nice and kind host... We were able to see Campbelford from our tent.... the view is the catch ! it has a great view to the suroundings... We hope to come back again
