Learn more about this land: We welcome you to the Little Farm That Could! A mixed Flower and vegetable market garden growing year-round on a small farm located in the Trent Hills. Tour the productive gardens which feed and beautify our township, meet our animals, learn about sustainable agriculture, and wind down the night in our wood-fired hot tub. The century old barn accommodates guests as a common space to relax, get out of the rain, play a game of ping pong, and is a backdrop for our wood fired hot tub. Two campsites are located on the farm. Both campsites have their own Washroom/outhouse. Be sure to ask about our hot tub package, the perfect way to wind down and relax in the presence of nature and under a star lit sky! So come on by and get connected to a small farm! We look forward to seeing you :) Jen & MikeWelcome to The Little Farm That Could! Nestled on a 13 acre micro-farm, Jen and Mike have created a welcoming environment surrounding lush organic gardens filled with magical blooms and nutritious vegetables. The century old barn which is newly restored provides an enchanting experience for campers by rewinding time to early settlement in the area. Built in the late 1800's, the solid timber frame structure is the perfect place to relax while playing some vinyl on the record player, enjoying a game of ping pong, or gazing out onto the animal pasture. The camp site overlooks the barn and is situated on fluffy grass alongside Organic apple, pear, plum, and cherry trees usually visited by blue jays daily. Within 50 meters, campers have access to their own private fire-pit, private campsite sink, and private outhouse with a running water sink. Also Located in the barn is a small floral studio where Jen creates stunning arrangements and bouquets using 100% of the blooms grown on the farm. From seed to harvest to final creation, every element of The Little Farm That Could is nurtured with passion and purpose. Whats a farm without animals? Lifetime residents roam the lush pastures and enjoy the peace and quiet. Our horses, sheep, and laying hens all have calm temperament. Campers are welcome to meet the crew at the fences and have one on one interaction. We hope to see you in this neck of the woods! yours kindly, Jen & Mike
