We missed our appointment and contacted the owner. He was very accommodating and allowed us to switch dates (I assume this is not a guaranteed policy but he had enough free spaces available). That was more than service than he was expected to provide. Thank you.

The camp spot was well laid out with Gravel for the car and Space for the tent. However as my kids and I walked around the grounds to explore I noticed that there were abandoned looking buildings which were used to feed the goats. Not a nice appearance. The goats also tried to eat our food at dinner the first night which was rather annoying . Nice immediate camping area but on further exploring the outside area buildings with goat food and goat poo inside left much to be desired.

My kids and I had a great time here. Ian was very friendly and helpful. We had a nice swim and some good fishing to! It was definitely a new entertaining experience for the kids to have the goats roaming around as well.

Kountry korner was 10/10, we will be coming back every time we get the chance, the property is everything you need when you are camping with small kids, the proximity to the city is perfect, having all the shops just 10 min away, the campground was clean and the bathroom were EXTRA clean at all times, even after a big storm, the owners are at the property at all times and they were checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed, the animals are so friendly we never worried about our son getting hurt and the quarry was the gem of the place, clear water with just the perfect temperature. Thank you so much Ian!

We loved camping here. The sites are cool and breezy, and are nestled under lots of tall trees. The goats love to hang out with the children and were hilarious. The quarry water is so clear and private, we were the only ones there for a long time. We had a great time swimming and paddling the little kayaks around. Ian was always friendly and helpful to get whatever we needed.

This was such a great experience! After a few bad experiences at provincial parks, we absolute loved staying on Ian's property. He was incredibly attentive and friendly, and the goats + chickens added a whole new dynamic. We'll be back!

Ian is such an incredible host - not only friendly and extremely accommodating but hilarious! The goats + chickens are so friendly and sweet. The campsites are large and have a nice fire pit and picnic table! The walk down to the quarry is beautiful, and the quarry itself is out of this world. It’s absolutely gorgeous, crystal clear natural turquoise water. A true hidden oasis! We will 100% be back!! Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend.

It's a great little camp site and the quarry was an amazing swimming hole. I would suggest getting a camp site further away from the office area because the goats would not leave us alone. (Tent #3 we had)

The hosts were amazing and keep the place in great condition, our only issue was the noise from the trains and the 401, neither of which the hosts can control. The lake is exquisite and the sites are lovely.

The Kountry Korner is a new spot for me. There are so many things in the pro category: It was completely as described - the sites are as pictured. I got what I was expecting and hoped for. And there are goats and chickens wandering around (the goats are rescues and are clearly loved and cared for)! So much fun! The only con would be the train noise. And that's on me for not noticing how close we were to train tracks. If you're not prepared, it is a lot. What HipCamp can't describe is how welcoming Ian is. We were there with a Girl Guide group and Ian went above and beyond to make our experience a memorable one. Thank you Ian and The Kountry Korner!

The campsite was very nice and we had a beautiful sunrise. The host was very nice and provided great directions even though we arrive past dark to set up. The bathrooms were a little rough for us and preferred to use the porta potty instead.

Our family loved it. The quarry pond was way colder than expected but looks so clean and worth the freeze. Goats and chickens do roam but have their preferred spot, so you know where to find them. Not very private, you can see and hear all your neighbours, but the couple that run the place are nice!

We loved Camping at the Kountry Corner. If your looking to get back to basics then this is the place for you. Our site was the Easy camp which has a large sturdy tent already on it, which worked so well when you bring two little ones and don't want the extra hassle of putting up your own. It was very clean and the fact it had a queen size mattress in it already was a huge bonus. Ian's land is beautiful and the quarry, well i have never seen such clear clean water. The kids as well as us loved hanging with the goats and chickens. Never a dull moment with the wild life either. Ian and Kim were amazing hosts and were very helpful if you needed anything. So if your looking for a place to just relax and unplug from the norm I highly recommend staying here. We loved it and can't wait to return. Thanks again Ian and Kim.

We enjoyed the stay. The communication was easy and they responded quicky. The quarry Lake is very nice and the stars gazing was amazing. The tent sites are common and closed to each others as conventional camphround. We woke up with rooster crowing and a lot of trains during the night, but I personally like it. Overall a nice place! Thxs
