Located on the shores of the 3rd largest lake in the Adirondack Park you will find Birch's Lakeside General Store, Campground and Marina. Nightly and Seasonal RV/Tent Campsites, bring your boat and park at the marina to access the lake, hike the Cranberry 50 or Bear Mountain, excellent fishing, stargaze, Children/Dog Friendly. Combined 28 RV/Tent sites available, 40 Marina Slips.

Waterfront Camping Site 10, Grassy

Tight fit but the view was worth it

The pros- the view was lovely. The deck, picnic table, and fire pit were outstanding. The small marina was nice for launching our kayak and the camp store was well stocked. The hosts helpful. The cons - very tight fit. The seasonal camper next door is right on top of site 10. Their dog roamed free, and they smoked cigarettes and cigars right next to our camper windows, so we couldn’t have our windows open when they were smoking. It’s their right to smoke, but if this bothers you, it is a deal breaker. The dump station is difficult to get to. All in all we enjoyed our stay.

Had a great two night stay right on the lake with an unbelievable view! Clean bathrooms, friendly neighbors, and easy check in/check out. Don’t forget your bug spray though being on the water!

Hidden Gem

Cranberry Lake is a hidden gem - the campground and marina are beautiful. The long term campers are amazing - we felt so welcomed and loved the sense of community we were brought into. The proximity to beautiful hikes and walks was outstanding. We'll definitely be back.

We spent 4 days at Birches Lakeside Campground. Quaint little private site, beautiful views, friendly people, a country store with a little bit of everything. Young owners on site, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Great stay at Lakeside at Cranberry Lake!! Beautiful lake side camp site!! Quiet, clean, beautiful scenery! PJ was a great host. We rented a boat and had a time on the lake. Will return!!
