Enjoy canoeing, kayaking, hiking, water-skiing, and swimming in the warmer months, or snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing in the winter.Big Moose is located in the Adirondack Park, the area is known for its abundant outdoor activities throughout the year. The best selling novel "An American Tragedy" is based on events that happened on the lake at the turn of the last century, which was also the adapted into the Oscar-winning film "A Place In The Sun", starring Elizabeth Taylor and Montgomery Clift. The area is the perfect location to relax, unwind and enjoy the natural beauty of this Upstate NY treasure, the original summer getaway for the rich and famous.
