Our horse farm is located in one of the most rural areas of Southern New Jersey. This land was once occupied by The Lanape Tribe. The adjacent creek was named after Chief Alloway. Artifacts of Native Americans have been found alongside this brackish water creek. This farm was for many years a dairy farm which was passed on for 3 generations until the late 80's. Our main horse breeds are 5 Arabians followed by 2 Thoroughbreds and 2 miniature ponies. In addition to horses you will see free range rabbits, chickens and beautiful cows. There are many antique shops in this area which tell the rich History of Southern NJ. Cowen mall and Royal Port are my two favorites. Another must see experience (at least once) in the area is The Cowtown Rodeo, one of the first and oldest in the country, only 14 minutes drive. Our 2 and a half acre property is situated in a very rural quiet area. The Wickecheoke creek, a tributary of the Delaware, runs through the property. There is a private seating area at the little creek for serene enjoyment and private meditation. The camp site has a small firepit and picnic table and the cabin has a large firepit, a patio area, and back deck. Plenty of wood is available - free again this season. The camping area is semi wooded. Both the campsite and little "log and have access to a large open grassy area, fun for children or dogs to recreate. The little 'log cabin' is a cozy and complete cottage with full kitchen, full bathroom, queen size bed, and a pull out sofa, pull out chair and pack and play. (Sleeps 4). There are many parks, conservation reserves and nature trails to hike nearby. Your can bike along farm roads in the area and find places to have your picnic lunch. Forgot some supplies?- within 3 short miles are many shops, services and restaurants, many deliver. Several varieties of wildlife are in the area: you will spot eagles, white tail deer, racoons, wild turkeys and red fox, to name a few, while you stroll, bike or drive throughout the area. Stop at the many creeks and enjoy the vibrant sounds of the bubbling waters; fish, frogs , turtles, blue heron and the many critters who habitate the waters. For birders there are over 75 species of birds within a short walk. During changes of seasons you can often see many birds in flight migrating to far away places. Bring your binoculars and camera. For you shop and antique explorers, just a short drive to the Delaware River and its quaint villages only 10 miles away: Lambertville, New Hope and Frenchtown. We had an amazing time! Andrea was super hospitable and very welcoming. It sits on 7 acres of land with much to see and do. There were many farm animals and fresh fruit. I would definitely go back!

The tent was awesome, the camping items at site and private outdoor “toilet” made it super stress free. Bring bug spray! if you have dogs i would highly recommend leashed despite the description. Personable and available host!

Weekend Trip to Camp Nox ⛺️

My friends and I had a fantastic time at Camp Nox. Everything was exactly as described. The site was private, clean, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed spending quality time among the trees, by the stream and the lake, and even visited a nearby public pool. The host was also very responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. Thank you for the wonderful glamping experience. It will be hard to go back to regular camping ;).

Super high end feeling cabins with great amenities! The beds were comfy and water pressure was good. Adding a map for nearby trails would be helpful as it took some spelunking to find ones around the area.

I spent 4 days on Andrea’s land in the tiny house and it was a transformative experience that I’ll always cherish. Andrea is a ray of sunshine, so helpful and thoughtful and vibrant! I highly recommend this stay!

Great little farm and campsite. It was especially nice to not have to set up the tent for once and the yurt comfortably fit 2 adults (on comfy couches) and 2 kids (on the floor). Definitely go swimming down on nearby brandywine with kids! They also started an imagination playground and farm animals to occupy the kids.

Just got home from the perfect weekend here. Just me and a friend of mine getting out of town for a few days, and we got to go to the rodeo in town at the time as well. Camp site/cabins are clean. Bathrooms and showers only steps away. A/C in the cabin kept us cool and the quietness of the area was perfect.

Weekend Trip to Riverside Hideaway

Our family had such an amazing experience at this cabin. The location is fantastic - right on the river, all by yourself. Our young boys had such a great time (yet still slept great in the AC!). The hosts were very accommodating! We will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Laureleye Farms

Very unique and private little property. Not very far from the road but there aren't many cars and its otherwise surrounded by woods. A little steep getting down to the water but the stream is nearby and amazingly refreshing. We did the add-on to borrow a canoe for a paddle and it was wonderful.

Weekend Trip to Great Times Camp Ground

The experience at this place was incredible. We were able to enjoy everything this campground has to offer. The kids had an amazing time, and the camping experience was unforgettable for both children and adults of all ages. The campground is very well designed to provide an outstanding experience. I would come back again and again because this place exceeded our expectations. The basketball and soccer courts, the available water, the gathering areas, and the picnic tables all made our stay even better. This place was truly amazing.

Weekend Trip to FernRock Retreat

This is a phenomenal spot for a relaxing stay. Sandy and John have put a lot of love into this space, and it shows. My girlfriend and I spent the weekend in the cabin by the creek, and even with inclement weather, there was plenty of space inside and plenty to do outside. The cabin was spacious, with two bedrooms, a mediation loft, full kitchen, and bathroom. The weekend was filled with passing thunderstorms, and we made great use of the screened in porch to watch the storms in comfort. Between downpours, we got to kayak, walk the grounds, and watch the plentiful wildlife. Sandy and John were great hosts, super friendly, and really accommodating when the storms knocked out power in the area. Really great experience, and we'll definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to FernRock Retreat

Amazing space and even more amazing hosts! Sandy and John provided the exact type of weekend escape my girlfriend and I needed to reset, kayak, meditate, walk some trails, sit on the dock, and still have a full kitchen and shower to come home to. John and Sandy were lovely to chat with every time we encountered them, and were super responsive and gracious when inclement weather hit. We will absolutely be visiting again soon!

Such a standout place! Pictures don’t do it justice - book it if you’re considering! Sandy and John are considerate hosts who balance proactive support and giving ample space to explore and have privacy. The cabin is spacious and has everything you need. The creek in the summer was so refreshing and cool. We beat a heat wave with ease with all the land had to offer.
