Great camp site if you want a relaxing time outdoors with nature. You pick your site which all are nice’with table chairs or bench set. Compost toilet very clean. No one greeted us but that was fine. We headed directly to our site to set before the noreaster arrived. We left early morning due to a tree snapped near us but no damage to our tent. I left my headlamp near a tree due to storm. Hopefully another camper can enjoy it!

The owner was not reachable via phone and did not return my emails or request for refund. I think the app was inaccurate in pinpointing his site as one near the Delaware Water Gap Recreational Area near Stroudsburg, PA. Might want to look into that as once I realized it was taking me way out of my way, it was too late to cancel. Owner will not respond to my emails.
Really had a nice time… it was our first time using HipCamp and our newbi-ness showed, but the host was kind and helpful and very welcoming. This is dispersed camping, so once you’re through the gate, you basically go wherever you want. We had a nice area with a little picnic table and fire pit that was under some pretty trees. We had a nice time relaxing in the afternoon, then having our dinner and a campfire in the evening. Was hoping to use my telescope but the clouds didn’t cooperate. It was quiet at night and we slept well.
The host was helpful, the site was great, we had decent cell service and there was even a little outhouse to complete the experience.

What a great place! Quiet and secluded with hiking trails, big fire pit and a comfy nights sleep.

My 7 year old daughter and I really wanted to just find a spot in the woods and go camping. I ended up going with Creekside at Crystal Lake on a whim as it would be a place to go. I had not been there before. When we arrived, it was exactly what we were looking for! We picked a spot all the way towards the end (very wooded) and it offered the seclusion and feeling of being out in the woods somewhere. We loved it, and will definitely be returning
We were able to find a nice, shady spot with a table and a fire ring. It was perfect! My granddaughters were on their first ever camping trip and this place checked all the boxes. Even the pit toilet was not so bad at all! I don't know how much there is to do in the area, but I would highly recommend for a 1-2 night stay!

Brian was accommodating however the site needs a cleanup. Very muddy as it was raining. No other amenities such as basketball hoop. There was also a party going on at the house on which the property sits that was quite loud.

I recently had the pleasure of camping at the Dispersed Area with fire pits at Creekside at Crystal Lake, and it was such a fantastic experience! The natural beauty surrounding the campsite is breathtaking, with plenty of trees perfect for hanging my hammock and enjoying the serene environment.
The fire pits were a great addition, providing a cozy atmosphere for nightly campfires. I loved that there were supplies available to cook over the fire, which meant I didn't have to bother with my camp stove. It truly added to the camping experience, sitting around the fire and enjoying some delicious meals.
The host family was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. It's a great spot for beginner campers too! I appreciated the solid cell phone and Wi-Fi signal, not to mention the convenience of having DoorDash deliveries accessible if I wanted a quick meal.
One of the highlights was the peaceful walks to the creek, where I enjoyed the soothing sounds of the water and the tranquility of nature. Waking up to the sight of deer in the morning was a magical touch that made the whole trip extra special.
Overall, my stay at Creekside at Crystal Lake was a delightful escape into nature, and I can't wait to return! Highly recommend this camping spot for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!
The cabin is small and quite comfortable. Great bed and couch. No power but there are battery power lights. A generator is available for a small fee and that might be essential in the heat of summer to run the AC. Sits all by itself away from the host’s home giving excellent privacy. Nice driveway into the cabin and easy to find. We stayed just one night but this would be a great base to see the area sites.

Great little spot. They had a table and chairs and a fire pit in our spot. The firewood we purchased from then was well seasoned and ready to burn. The spot was not as far from the home as I was expecting, but still felt private.
Great spot!! The grass was perfect for our toddlers to run around in after a full day in the van!

We were truly happy to stay in this cabin. It meant a lot to us how thoughtfully the host prepared everything before our arrival — the grass was freshly cut, the firewood was chopped and stacked, the lanterns were turned on, and even the fire pit was already prepared with wood and sticks for us.
The whole place felt so cozy and cared for, as if it had been prepared not just for guests, but with genuine love and attention. Even though we never met the host, it’s easy to feel that someone truly loves this place — and the people who come to stay here.
We would absolutely love to come back to this lovely little cabin again.
What a beautiful spot and super quick access from highway without hearing the highway.
We loved tent camping on Sarah‘s land. She’s an immaculate host. Everything was as advertised and just lovely. Great views with our own private spot. Wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Amazingly pretty and private and makes it easy to ground and get to your roots. A step away.
We had weekend trips at Bern’s place and it was wonderful. Cabin is really cozy and had everything needed. Everything was properly marked for convenience. My kid had a wonderful time hiking and watching horses.
Beautiful fire pit and peaceful nature.Bren was super responsive and helped whenever we needed anything. Wonderful place and helpful people.
We had a great time for a quick overnight. I definitely want to return with my grandson for a weekend.

We had a fantastic weekend at this site. Because the weather was cooler, we were looking for cabin camping, and the cabin was thoroughly prepped with everything we might need and was very clean. The outhouse was also spotless. Our favorite part was the outdoor area beside the cabin, with the picnic table and campfire. It felt like we were in the middle of the woods, even though we weren’t far from civilization. There is some nearby road noise, which is hard to avoid given the location, but in the morning we heard birds and the crackling fire helped drown out the car sounds. This spot is perfect for anyone seeking cabin camping with a private, secluded feel for a getaway.

We stayed at Bren's place with our 3 dogs in a 27' travel trailer. Easy in and out very convenient for traveling. Clean and friendly.
I booked the cabin and one tent site to accommodate our group of 2 adults, three kids, and one dog. We setup the tent near the cabin and had a fantastic time! The cabin is cozy and was very comfortable for mom with two boys. The dispersed area looks great, although we did not use it. The host was very accommodating and responded to my barrage of questions. We felt very comfortable and safe. What a great place for a family getaway!

This little cabin had everything we needed, and we were very comfortable. Linens provided, great battery powered lamps and everything was clearly marked. We only stayed for one night and did not take advantage of the fire pit, but we enjoyed relaxing on the porch with coffee in the morning. Though the communal pit toilet is shared with others who may be camping on the land, the cabin is separate from campsites and feels very private. We’d certainly love to return for a longer stay.
We loved camping in this beautiful area. Plenty of space to put up our tent and have some peace and quiet. We are local but it is a great way to end a busy, stressful week.
