Green Acres
We went back a week later!
The fact that we returned a week later speaks for itself! This is a perfect home base for us to camp while we visit nearby family. Hosts are super laid back, welcoming, and thoughtful. This is our go-to for when we visit family (and when we just need a quiet evening away). Highly recommend!

A+ Quiet,serene,beautiful,nature
Awesome site- wish we had more time there! We stopped over for a night (25’ travel trailer/pickup truck). Host is super responsive and welcoming. Met us on arrival, showed us where to go. Site has electric and water. Woke up to 3 deer right on other side of our window. Nice field.. pretty woods surrounding. Super quiet. We loved it and will absolutely return! Thank you T!!!

Great Hipcamp!
One of the best Hipcamp sites. Good directions, Private, peaceful. Owners left water source (filtered), electricity (via extension cord), came to introduce themselves and see if I needed anything, then left me to enjoy. (Stark difference to the Hipcamp the night before— couldn’t find it, it was dark & I tired after a 5-hour drive, they didn’t answer email or text— only found it b/c ran into neighbor who knew where the sites were.) These owners were perfect Hipcamp hosts— reachable when needed, obviously cared about campers’ experiences. I recommend with no hesitation!

Backyard scenario/lacks hookups
The hosts were as nice and helpful as could be. We were a bit surprised at the setup. Maybe I didn't read all the details, so it's probably my mistake. It literally is like staying in someone's huge backyard. We had to drive through wet grass/mud to access it. 20 amp electricity, so we had to run the generator. No waste hookup. He set up a fire for us, which was lovely, but we never sat outside because there were so many gnats. He is very present, and a time or two I looked up and he was there, it was a little startling, but he was always trying to help, and I know he meant well. Not sure I recommend it. For us, we need more hook ups. If you are just there to sleep, which we kind of were, it’s okay.

Green Acres
Beautiful area. Tom was a great host, had a fire waiting for us at the site as we arrived and helped us get set up easily. As we were packing to leave, it was raining and Tom took it upon himself to bring out an umbrella and held it for my husband as he attached our tow car. True gentlemen! Will definitely come back if we pass through this area again.
