3 nights at Historic Riverside Farm

We loved staying at Riverside Farm the site was very private and very large. The river access was great, just a short walk on a wooded path led to a beautiful spot were we fished sat in tubes and just hung out in the water. The only thing I could say was a little inconvenient was the entrance to the site was a little tight for trailers to navigate around the dumpster through the opening to the path down to the site. But even with that we are definitely coming back.

Weekend Trip to Crystal Spring Camp

As we pulled around the windy gravel road, we came upon a clearing across from the Art Trail. Tucked under tall, fragranced pine trees, we found multiple tiki torches leading to an iron table and chairs, situated beside the fire pit. We decided to tuck our tent under the pines on a ground of needles, next to the cozy wooden bench. The grounds were idyllic, full of birdsong and soft breezes. We found a spot for the hammock to lounge in the shade… and while it was a 90’ day, it was pleasant and cooler under the pines. There is a small active stream a short walk from the camp. The owners of Crystal Spring, Rose and Eric, are quite lovely, helpful, and friendly. They came to greet us with a bouquet of various herbs from their garden. Overall, this was such a sweet little getaway. We will definitely be back soon x

3 nights at Wallkill River Camping

Highly recommend! We stayed in site 1 and set up our tent in the trees at the top of the hill. Beautiful site with view of the river and the hay field. Short walk to swimming spot by site 3 (muddy but worth it!). A gorgeous place to spend some time! We loved seeing the bats overhead at twilight, the stunning display from the fireflies, waking up to birdsong. Private and quiet. Clean outhouse. Good vibes, friendly host!

1 night at The River's Edge

The perfect quick getaway for us. Having a beautiful site on the water was key, and we even decided to stay another night after rolling in. Felt private (little paths you can walk along from the site,) and as adults with a dog, the river access was perfect (handy rope attached to the tree at our river access point.) Sure, there's road sounds, but didn't bother us for the location. The BBQ, firepit, river view table, water, and utensils/pans etc were a bonus. Would definitely visit again.

Weekend Trip to Historic Riverside Farm

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Historic Riverside Farm Campsite 1 and I cannot rave enough about my experience! Nestled in a picturesque setting, this campsite offers breathtaking views of a sprawling farm, making it a perfect escape into nature. The rolling fields and vibrant greenery provide a stunning backdrop, especially during sunrise and sunset. One of the highlights of my stay was the easy access to the Walk Kill River. The soothing sound of the flowing water and the opportunity to explore the riverside was simply delightful. Whether I was fishing, or just lounging by the riverbank, it was a serene experience that I’ll cherish. The facilities were well-maintained, and the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, ensuring that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway amidst beautiful scenery. I can’t wait to return!

3 nights at Historic Riverside Farm

Our family had a fantastic time camping on the farm. Site 2 was ideal for letting our toddlers run freely through the chamomile fields all the way to the swings. The shade from the tree provided a lovely respite from the sun. Access to the river was just a short 15-step path away. While it’s not safe to leave little ones unattended by the river, there’s a nearby path leading to a shallow riverbank that’s perfect for toddlers to splash around safely. The campsites are spaced far enough to see, but not hear your neighbors . We’re glad we brought two large water containers, which were perfect for drinking and washing. The water from the pump tasted fresh and clean. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Weekend Trip to Wallkill River Camping

Another great stay at Wallkill river campsite. The foliage was in full bloom which made the site more secluded. Waking up listening to all the nearby birds is my favorite time of the day.

A little slice of heaven. So relaxing, lots of space. I went to minnewaska park near by. Loved sitting on swing watching fireflies at night and listening to the water to fall asleep. Thank you for sharing your beautiful space with us.

2 nights at Paradise Valley Homestead

I car camped at Site 7 for two nights and it was perfect. The site was very private with plenty of room and only a short walk to the waterfall. Kathleen was so welcoming and helpful! I am already looking forward to my next visit!

1 night at Wallkill River Camping

Sarah’s land is an absolute gem!! We stayed on site 3 and it was absolutely magical - private, quite, shady, and close to the water. Great fire pit and easy to drive up to for setup. Feels rural but plenty of shops and stores nearby to grab food if needed. Favorite part was walking along the river with our pup in the mornings / evening. Would definitely return!

I had an incredible time staying at Kathleen’s land. The peace, the connection with nature, and the simplicity of the surroundings made it a truly special experience. It was exactly what I needed to relax and recharge. Kathleen was a great host—everything was well thought out, and I felt welcomed and safe. I would definitely come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking to reconnect with nature and find some peace and quiet.

This is a great spot to camp! Quiet and peaceful, but easy access to a bunch of things nearby. The grounds are beautiful. I stayed in a tent site previously and this time around, I brought my camper. Having electricity for my camper was really helpful.

Weekend Trip to Paradise Valley Homestead

We hosted our camp-out wedding at Paradise Valley Homestead, and stayed in the Medieval Encampment as our wedding suite. The whole thing beginning to end was pure magic. Kathy is the most incredible host, and made sure that all of our friends and family knew where to find their campgrounds and that everyone was comfortable. I can’t speak enough to the beauty of this place, it’s an oasis in a busy world. Or to the kindness of Kathleen. If I had to plan my dream wedding over again, I wouldn’t change a thing. The encampment is gorgeous and comfortable - stay here! You won’t regret it.

1 night at The River's Edge

This was a wonderful campsite. The structures are rustic and cozy, accommodations plentiful and thoughtful, and the host is incredibly kind and communicative. I would recommend this site for experienced campers and novices alike. I will definitely be back!

1 night at Pocono Point

Great location for us, as we were heading to the NASCAR Race! We lucked out and got a shady spot for the afternoon but in the morning not so much! Left early to the race anyway! Nice having the river right there also! The host was very helpful when we had any questions.

Weekend Trip to Wooded area with campsites

I had a lot of fun camping at Jeffery’s campsite. The caretaker on premise was extremely nice and was able to supply lots of wood for a fare price. I stayed 2 nights and was left alone in a beautiful part of NJ. Only thing is no bathroom but lots if places nearby to go. Fire pit was awesome!

Weekend Trip to Organic Farm in the Pocono Mts.

Always working on improvements! My second glamping site "The Medieval Encampment", is available for booking starting April 1st of 2025. I will have more pictures soon. In April of 2024, my long awaited 1st Glamping site was available for booking. It's been very popular! Please read the description carefully of the "Gypsy Rose Vardo", to see if it's the right fit for you. I also have 10 large camping sites available on our 33 acre property located in Northwest NJ. Sites 1 through 4 are on mowed, fairly level fields and are large enough for campers or RV's up to 30ft, or a couple of tents, and sites 5 and 6 are further back in the woods, available only for a few small tents, sites 7 through 10 are much further into the property and are only accessible with a high clearance AWD or 4WD SUV or you can park and hike your gear in. There are 3 compost toilet outhouses spread out through the property, so it's an easy walking distance from any site. Although we are only 2 1/2 miles from a main highway, the last 2 miles are on a dirt road with no houses. We are surrounded by protected land, so no neighbors and lots of wildlife, including the occasional bear, coyote or raccoon. Keep all food items secured. Because we are surrounded by protected land we are not sprayed for insects, so be safe and do tick checks often and bring the bug spray. We are 45 minutes from NYC or the Delaware Water Gap and an hour away from the NJ shore. There are horse farms nearby that offer trail rides. We are also close to the Highland and Appalachian Hiking trails. There are two reservoirs within a 20-minute drive for canoeing or kayaking. There are walking trails through our property, including a ten-minute hike on a marked trail to a small waterfall in a ravine.

We are in the mountains with great climbing, next to a state park. The campsite is on top of a massive boulder that looks out over the grounds with tons of wildlife surrounding. On a dead end road in the middle of the woods with no other houses within sight. ***PLEASE NOTE: BATHROOMS ARE THE SEASON. A little bit about us. This is a small campground. We do have one Glamping site as well as well as a super luxurious pool house available. We rent small retro RV's as well, see our other listings!! There are 40 acres here to explore with small streams, wetlands and forests. We have 4 modern brand new bathrooms with a hot showers in a beautiful new bathhouse with a charging station for phones and tablets. Its pretty amazing!!!!! We do have sulfur water, its great for your skin but smells! Each site usually has a 2 chairs, a table , a grill and a fire ring..... We also offer 3 vintage campers for a unique glamping experience. Boulder Point Camping is centrally located among indoor and outdoor activities, great restaurants, local shops, and antiquing. We are close to loads of hiking trails, state parks, restaurants, creeks, swimming, fishing and more. Sam's Point, Ice Caves Mountain, and Minnewaska State Park just to name a few! In addition there are plenty of microbreweries, wineries, and farms where you can pick your fruit right off the tree (or vine) as the case may be. We are also a few minutes from Angry Orchard, Gardiner Brewing Company, and Baldwin Vineyards and many many others... Dogs welcome with an additional $20 fee. The River's Edge

The River's Edge campsites sit on the shoreline of the Delaware River at the western edge of New York State overlooking the mountains of Pennsylvania. Our canvas tents and open air platforms perch between the river and the former Delaware & Hudson Canal which was once was used to transport raw goods by barge to New York City via the 'port' of Port Jervis. The remnants of the canal walls are throughout the property including a 300 person theater which we created to both preserve and feature this industrial history. It also makes a great place for an event or a movie night. Today, the original canal towpath, along which barges would be pulled and floated downstream, is a trail that links all of the campsites over 5 acres and at the furthest end an eel fishing camp that is in operation from June to October (say 'hi' to Jim). In the early 1900s, the train replaced the canal as the primary method of moving goods into New York and if you are lucky — you will hear the train rumble by along the river on the Pennsylvania side. There is something spectacular in the absolute still and grandness of the river, the mountains and the ongoing industrial history of the valley. It is a reminder of the way things used to be. The farmhouse and cabins are located opposite the campsites on other side of route 97. Next to them are 50 acres of wild forest to hike and explore. These accommodations are great for guests who want more amenities but still with easy access to river. Pair campsites and cabins so that all your guests have their best experience.
