We will be back!
We absolutely loved the Pacific Dunes RV site! It's well kept, there's a coffee shop/market onsite, AND it's quick/easy access to the beach! The shower/bathroom onsite is more than sufficient, and overall would give this property a big thumbs up. We will be back!!

Trash piled up each day we were there. Most of the RV sites are extremely close....lack of privacy. When the temp outside was down quite a lot there was no way to warm the shower bldg. We liked the closeness to the ocean beach as well as the trail.

Beachfront Family Glamping - 2
We are good with this place. The tents are well insulated for the colder part of the nights. The showers are reasonably clean. The hosts are attentive. The beach is only minutes away.

Pacific Dunes is Simply Amazing!
I've returned to Pacific Dunes several years running and each time think that things are better than the last! This year I was surprised by the addition of a coffee shop and general store with a few items that you might need. Beer on tap? Yes, please and thank you! A new bridge to the shore? Cool! And now, there are outdoor shower stalls (clean and easy to use). It's really important to note two other things. (1) The bathroom is well maintained and has outdoor showers for sand. Amazing. (2) Wifi is pretty good. For someone with a camper and a repeater/bridge, it's like being at home! I met James and a couple other team members during my visit. You've got a great team who are really helpful and customer-focused. Thanks for being amazing hosts and providing a comfortable, fun, and well-maintained vacation property. We'll be back next year, or even sooner!

Definitely mixed feelings
There were plenty of nice things about the place. The beach was a very close and an adorable walk, the communication was very good, and check in/check out was easy. The RV spots were super tight. Like, we were right on the people next to us with our awning over hanging their trailer. My husband said the men's bathhouse side left a lot to be desired with a small, dirty shower, and very old toilet. Other than the beach, there wasn't much to do at the actual campsite, specifically for our young kids. I also dislike that we are charged the equivalent of an extra night because we have 5 people (2 adults, 3 kids). We're in our own RV. It's not as if there's additional clean up like there would be in a bungalow, tiny house, or glamping tent. We would likely find somewhere else to stay if returning to the area again.
