We loved staying at Rivers Edge Trail Camp. An amazing property overlooking the New River, valley and numerous Mountains. The panoramic views from any of the sites are wide-ranging and expansive. The sun sets over the mountains and hawks fly overhead. The location for hiking and biking (New River Trail) is excellent. Site was level, good hookups, & fire pit. Jim was very kind and helpful. This was our second visit here, and even with the rain, the view didn’t disappoint. The peace, calm, and fresh air provided the perfect weekend getaway.
Jim was very friendly and inviting. He was super attentive to a request and need that we had.

We absolutely loved camping site 4 on Jim's land, beautiful views and so quite and peaceful. We enjoyed our time walking and viewing the property can't wait to plan our next trip here in the late summer and fall.

The views are beautiful here. The electrical and water hookups are on the camp side so as long as you’re prepared, not a big deal. Each group of three sites are closer than they appear in pics but not on top of each other. We’ll definitely go back.

We love Jim's little slice of heaven. It's an easy walk or bike ride to the trail. Having full hookups makes us feel spoiled everytime we stay.

Directions were perfect, owner asked if we needed any help. There was a trash can close by, which was a nice change compared to some other hookup sites. View of The New River were beautiful. Site had a picnic table, fire pit and all hookups. We had a very peaceful night, on our way home from East Coast family visits. I highly recommend River’s Edge Trail Camp.

Loved the views. All sites have a great view. Walking around, I think site 3 is the best, but all sites were well kept and spacious. Would definitely come back.

As others have mentioned, beautiful views. Hookups worked no problem. Sites were a little cozy next to each other but we were lucky to reserve early in the season.

Amazing views of the valley. Less then one mile from the New River Trail. Amazing 57 mile rails to trails bike. Hike in horse trail. Full hookups 50, 30 and 20 Amp electric. Good water and sewer.

We enjoyed camping at site 6! Google map directions wanted ua to turn early, but we heeded the advice of another reviewer and followed the well posted sinage. The views were amazing! Even though there was on and off rain, the mornings were incredibly clear and crisp. As other campers have mentioned, it does get gusty but nothing too bad. We had the place to ourselves the first night but even with another camper 2 sites away, it remained quiet and peaceful. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see a sunset with heavy cloud cover, but that didn't detract from an otherwise spectacular weekend! We walked the New River Trail from the state park (20 min away) and the Allisonia access (10 min away). We also visited the Iron Heart Winery, a wonderful treat! Would definietly stay again.

One of that most peaceful beautiful sites we’ve ever stayed at. Close proximity to the New River Trail (which is why we chose this spot) however other than the bike ride on the Nee River trail we never left. Cannot think of the last time that has happened. Full hookups with great water pressure and such a serene view. Already looking to book again! Thank you for sharing a piece of your beautiful property with us.

Our 4th time here but first time in site 6 which we loved. Amazing view of the New River as it winds its way towards the RV park. We had a strong breeze up on the site as is common for a stay here but the view is spectacular and the access for us was easy. This is one of our top 'go-to' sites when we travel and we'll be back by Fall.
