*TENT CAMPING* We offer primitive camping (tents) along Reed Creek in Wythe County, Virginia. Although we are a primitive campground, we do offer amenities to make your stay comfortable, including portable toilets and trash collection. We do NOT provide potable water or electricity at our sites. We have five regular waterfront sites, one waterfront drive-in truck tent site, and two day use sites. All sites have a firepit and table. We do have additional overflow sites on the property, so if you see that we are sold out, just contact us! There is also a shared common area that includes a picnic table, large charcoal grill, swing set, and several mini libraires. *RENTALS* NEW FOR 2025: KAYAK - CANOE - AND TUBE RENTALS, WITH SHUTTLE SERVICE, NOW AVAILABLE! Rentals and shuttle vans are available on the weekends and holidays (weather permitting). Paddlers property has approximately 1/2 mile of creek frontage. From there you are approximately another 1/2 mile from the New River. You can either start your trip at Paddlers or we can shuttle you to/from other local areas (including Foster Falls and Allisonia boat ramp)! *Weekday rentals and shuttles will be available for large groups only. We also have some fun spots to go fishing, swimming, or you can tube the creek for 1/2 mile without ever leaving the Paddlers property (this is PERFECT for kids)!! Campsite #6 is a flat grassy space on the banks of Reed Creek, perfect for swimming, fishing, and relaxing. There is a gravel area to park and camp. There is a firepit with cooking grate and table located at site. Guests will have access to portable toilets and trash collection. We do NOT provide potable water or electricity at our sites. PLEASE NOTE: This is our ONLY "drive-in" site. This is the only site at Paddlers that will work for any type of vehicle tents, or small camper vans (NO HOOKUPS). There is also a shared common area near the site that includes a picnic table, a large charcoal grill, swing set, and several FUN mini libraires.

Situated a short distance away from the campground, it is a flat grassy space on the banks of Reed Creek, perfect for swimming, fishing, and relaxing. There is a firepit provided. We do NOT provide potable water or electricity at our sites. *PLEASE NOTE: This site is a good little walk from toilets, trash, and parking (therefore, it is cheaper per night). *ALSO NOTE: This is not a "drive-in" site. What a beautiful spot! Right on the creek and well maintained. We had the campground to ourselves probably bc tubing season is over so it was extra peaceful. Easy 20 or so minute drive to get to a parking lot for the New River Trail. Great spot all around.

Second time camping here for my daughters birthday and it was just as great as the first! Very clean, plenty of space in between sites, the playground and creek are perfect for my little and big kids. We rented a canoe while we were there and the teens had so much fun on it! Will definitely be back!

Nice, quiet creekside camping site with ample shade and grassy areas. Great wildlife sightings, and good paddling on Reed Creek and nearby New River. Ryan is a friendly and responsive host, answered all our questions, gave us some good leads on float options. No potable water onsite, bring plenty of water for drinking and cleaning. We will camp at Paddler's Creekside again!

It's a nice open campground along the creek. Hosts were welcoming and the grounds were peaceful. Beautiful spot to float, bird, and recharge outdoors. Many rocks were skipped and s'mores were had. It's our second time stopping by and I'm sure we'll be back!

This campsite was really fun. We spent our time tubing down the creek, talking around the campfire, and playing games. The owners were very friendly. The site itself was very spacious. We had the entire campsite to ourselves. I will be back and recommend this quaint campsite to others as a great getaway.

We loved this site! So quiet, peaceful and relaxing! Stores aren't too far away in case you need anything (DG, FD and gas stations). Lots to do and explore nearby. We drove to Buffalo Mountain in Willis and got a quick hike in and then came back to the campground and were shuttled to kayak down the river. So much adventure and fun for us! The owners are awesome and made us feel so welcomed, even when I called at 745 in the morning to reserve our kayaks. Will definitely be back!

We had the BEST time at Paddlers! The site was beautiful, family friendly, quiet and super clean! The owners are extremely nice and helpful!!! We enjoyed camping and kayaking!! Definitely recommend Paddlers—we will be back!

We had a great experience…first reservations was the easiest quick and simple. Camping spots are huge not right on top of the next campers. We had spot 1 which has a hammock already in place for you to use. We invited friends and they had spot 2 which I loved to you have quick access to the creek. You are right off the creek and there’s SHADE plenty of shade for these HOT DAYS now if you love the SUN there’s plenty of that to. The water is great for smaller kids but deep enough for a 250+ man to still be able to relax and float down the creek in relaxation. Each camp site has own fire ring. Theres so much to say POSITIVE you have to go check it out yourself. You are about 5 miles max from the interstate. Weekends you can rent tubes and be shuttled we brought our own and stayed within the PADDLERS Campsite for tubing which was more than enough for us. There’s no potable water but you are camping. PortaJons aka potty’s are extremely clean as well. They provide wagons to transport stuff from car to campsite. We did have WiFi signal but again could be spotty but heck tell the kids NO SIGNAL and enjoy the nature. And last we met the owners they are the BEST!!! Highly recommended camp site!!!!!!

Paddlers Campground was exceptional. Easy to make reservations to following GPS directions to arrive there. The off-grid primitive camping is nice and private with a table and fire pit provided at each spacey spot on the creek side bank. Ample space to play badminton, football, etc or rent kayaks or floats and enjoy crystal clear water flowing to New River. We fell asleep listening to fox bark and owls hooting and woke up to a large buck with many point antlers standing close by to our spot. The owners are fantastic at keeping the grounds clean and very outgoing and personable. This has become our number one day trip and hopefully we can schedule more overnights. Love it!

Never a disappointment! The kids floated, played on the swings, and stayed in the creek the whole time! 100/10 again! Clean sites, bathrooms, and creekside. Don’t forget to bring a mug, book, or rock for the exchange center! Such a cute place!

Great spot right by the water. You can fish, kayak or tube the water. Peaceful spot. Portapotties for camper use and trash cans as well. Unsure if there was a water tap available. There is a playground for kids as well. Fire ring and table for use.

Wonderful quiet spot right by the river! The owner is super kind. It’s nice having firewood to purchase for $5 a bundle. Bring cash for the dropbox. Would stay again!

We stayed at one of the drive-in truck tent sites at Paddler’s Campground, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. The site was spacious, quiet, and perfectly nestled near the river—offering stunning views and the soothing sounds of flowing water all day and night. What truly made the stay special was the warm and genuine hospitality.
