Great spot right by the water. You can fish, kayak or tube the water. Peaceful spot. Portapotties for camper use and trash cans as well. Unsure if there was a water tap available. There is a playground for kids as well. Fire ring and table for use.

Campground was very clean, plenty of firewood that was refreshed Saturday night. Awesome spot right by the river, perfect for our roof top tent!

Wonderful quiet spot right by the river! The owner is super kind. It’s nice having firewood to purchase for $5 a bundle. Bring cash for the dropbox. Would stay again!

We stayed at one of the drive-in truck tent sites at Paddler’s Campground, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. The site was spacious, quiet, and perfectly nestled near the river—offering stunning views and the soothing sounds of flowing water all day and night.
What truly made the stay special was the warm and genuine hospitality.

We loved the area it was so beautiful right on the creek. Tho there are a few things to keep in mind. There are no picnic tables at the camping spots. If you stay in overflow #8 #7, the bathrooms are on the opposite end and be prepared to carry your stuff a good ways to the campsites as these are no pull up parking. Other than that we really loved the place. It was a good little kayaking trip from the creek to 100 bridge(left side.) They also offer trips from Foster Falls to Allison boat launch.

We absolutely loved the car/truck site!! Bryan and Ryan are just all around great people. You can tell they really love what they do and helping people enjoy the outdoors. We enjoyed the kayak rental and shuttle service as well - the perfect way to enjoy the local waterways. We will definitely be back and loved this trip!

The owners have done a great job with this campground, paying attention to little details that are very helpful. For instance there are automatic, motion-activated lights that turn on next to the porta-potties which aren't too bright to wake campers, but very helpful for finding your way in the dark. (And the porta-potties are very clean with hand sanitizer dispensers, etc.) It's not very big so even if there are others camping, it doesn't feel crowded. All the spots are fairly close to the parking area too, which is also nice. (The official drive-in spot has its own dedicated parking and has a nice spacious area that's kind of roped off from everyone else. We had two dogs with us so this was helpful for our dogs to recognize their boundary and it gave us plenty of space for the pups to play out of everyone's way!) I would highly recommend this spot! It's also right on the water, which is so lovely!

If you want an awesome spot to camp by the creek..Paddler’s is def the place! super clean, easy access, firewood and porta potties on site! I didn’t get a picture but there are even tiny libraries…”stick” library for dogs, books, rocks…! Playground for kids! There are fire pits, tables, benches…hammock! Check them! We had some loud neighbors but there is quiet hours so that was nice and they were respectful! Great spot for dogs and families! We loved it bc we were close to home, but still felt like we were away! A little staycation!

I wish I could give this HipCamp 10 stars! ⭐️ Ryan was the best experience with a host I’ve had, which was such a blessing after being cancelled on last min. Ryan was super responsive and friendly, it was so appreciated! The site is well managed and clean. You are close to tons of outdoor recreation, I recommend visiting the New River Trail State Park. The pads are super level and well spaced out. You can tell there is a lot of thought into safety and care for this property. I enjoyed my stay so much that I extended my stay an extra day! Definitely will be returning, you can’t go wrong staying with Paddler’s 🛶

Campsite was lovely! We loved being right on the creek and the tent spaces were perfect with a bit of tree cover but mostly open space. Definitely on our list to return and bike the New River Trail and paddle in the river.

We loved our weekend here! The grounds are well taken care of and you can tell Ryan and team have put a lot into it. It was too chilly (but good camping weather!) for us to get in the creek, but I imagine in the summer months, it’s a great time! Sites are close together so if you’re wanting a private/no neighbors kind of thing, this may not be best for you, but as far as quality of grounds, sites, location, etc it’s a great place! We hope to be back.

We had so much fun camping at paddlers during Labor Day weekend! Very well kept and very peaceful to be by the creek. My kids ages range from 5-16 and they all had a great time, the playground was a plus! Will definitely be going back 😎🏕️

Absolutely adorable and easy to find spot! Incredibly clean with toilets available. Waking up next to the creek was so peaceful. The site is next to a side road so it wasn’t super busy with car noise but it made it an easy and convenient tent camping spot! 10/10 will be visiting again.

Due to rain and it being a site very close to home, we only stopped by for a little while to let our dogs play.
It's a WONDERFUL location though, the creek is amazing, the sites are fantastic and I will go again and hope for better weather.
Do be aware phone signal is very iffy - but for me that's a feature!

We loved camping at paddlers creek! We had the place all to ourselves and it was a great break from the daily grind. We floated the creek on tubes and also kayaked to the bridge in the new river. The creek is shallow often only 1-2 feet deep so it was great for the little kids to play in. Campground is well maintained and everything was as expected.

Paddlers is such a cute campground! When the weather forecasted rain, they contacted me understanding we might have wanted to reschedule and she very accommodating. The grass was freshly cut, cute tree swing, fun playground, the river was perfect for tubing, everything was clean and very well kept. We really enjoyed our time. The yellow flys when we were there we the only negative thing about the site. With that being said we do plan on coming back😊

Paddler's is perfect! Quiet, secluded, peaceful, just sooo relaxing. We enjoyed tubing, swinging, grilling, swimming all in one. We look foward to many more visits to this outdoor gem.

Beautiful and easy to find! There's very little in the way of service so I was glad that the host sent all pertinent information well ahead of arrival. We got lucky to have the place to ourselves and it was just lovely. If I ever come back through Virginia I would definitely consider staying here again.
