I love how the host was so kind and nice. Close to nature and they had so many kayaks to use. It was so nice to have the place to our self

The owner is a lovely person and extremely kind.
Site two provided a lovely view of the lake and sufficient privacy when our truck was parked properly.
The lake was full of fish.

Site 1 - The Meadows of Chigger Creek
Our new home away from home.
Our favorite family campsite, hands down! Perfect for a family with young children and a dog. The lake and private beach did not disappoint. My youngest was happy as can be playing in the sand with his toys. Simultaneously, my oldest perfected his cannonball from the dock.
The shade was absolutely perfect for a hot hot weekend. It really was the best blend of sunshine, shade, and stars!
We loved the outdoor shower area + outdoor kitchen. We still used our camp stove. But we were able to wash dishes and prep things in the kitchen area.
At night, the string lights were a wonderful touch for our young family. But we did unplug them so we could have watch the stars from our tent.
We absolutely adored our camp hosts, Kirstin and Dale. They took such wonderful care of us. Kirstin made us banana bread (divine!!) and Dale sparked up the campfire each night. My kids loved them each, and ended up calling her "Nana K"! It was such a perfect vibe for our family.
We will be returning. This has quickly become our favorite spot. Genuinely, if you're looking for a safe, fun, inviting location...this is it!

Amazing Host and Beautiful View
Kirstin was the epitome of a great host. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we didn’t pull in until late Thursday night. When we explained the situation, not only did she agree to the late check in, she was up to guide us into our spot, help get us settled (including letting us borrow a 30 to 50 converter because we didn’t have one), and make sure we were comfortable before calling it a night.
The next morning, we were greeted by a beautiful lake view! It was the perfect way to start the day after a rough night. I would absolutely recommend either of these sites!!

Site 1 - The Meadows of Chigger Creek
Beach and Breakfast was AMAZING
We had such a great experience camping here. Kristin and Dale are super nice, the lake is beautiful, and even in the middle of a heat wave the breeze coming off the water and the shade trees made for an ideal camping experience. We ordered the Beach and Breakfast for the next morning and it was AMAZING. This was my first shrimp and grits experience and it did not disappoint. So flavorful, and the sourdough bread on the side was perfection. Kristin brought it down to us on the cutest tray with these beautiful pottery bowls. Eating at the picnic table by the water made for a wonderful morning.

Gorgeous and fun!
I really can’t say enough good things about this place! My friends and I stayed at site 2 and had a wonderful time! The entire property is gorgeous. There is ample space for tents as well as an eno (which I slept in). The beach located directly on the campsite is a great place to hangout and swim. I love that they provide kayaks to guests! The host and hostess are incredibly kind and gracious. He helped my friends and I start a fire when he noticed we were having trouble. It was a 4 hour drive for us to get there, but we will definitely be back!! 10/10 recommend!
