Bamboo Field RV Site
The site is cute and well-maintained, and the host is friendly and accommodating. However, it is less private than it looks in the photos - there’s a big gap in fencing that looks directly into another driveway where people are sometimes coming and going. There’s also a moderately busy street and a walking trail right across the street, which is nice to walk down but also means lots of people walking past.
It’s also located directly across from a subdivision with very weird vibes - think everyone wearing pretty much the same outfit, cookie cutter houses, dead silence, etc, and many of the people walking by stopped and stared at our camper van (probably partly bc our van is a ford e350 DIY build and not the type of tricked out sprinter van people associate with van camping) and some made clearly negative comments. The vibe of the site property is very different from the subdivision, and I’m guessing it was there first. It was an okay enough stop for a one-night stay on the way to somewhere else, which is what we were doing, or would probably be fine for staying in a small trailer and exploring the area, but not great for just hanging out at. Just definitely be ready to not have a lot of privacy and to deal with nosy suburbanites, which is the trade off for staying in a town rather than somewhere more secluded.

We camped here for June 20-22, 2025 which is located in Lititz, Lancaster, Pennsylvania · Although it was listed as having 4 acres, our RV site was much less than a 1/4 acre. When we arrived, being there were vehicles behind us and not wanting to hold up traffic, we pulled into the site. This was a huge mistake with no way to turn our truck hauling our RV around in the area of the site. The website said to "pull in or back in" but West Woods Drive, is a very busy street with excessive traffic so we opted to pull in to not tie up traffic. This site also lists that recycling and trash bins were available, but they were not provided, so we brought our trash back home. Next to the picnic table at our site was a discarded broken computer chair and a metal grated cargo hauler for trailer hook-up. When pulling out onto W. Wood Rd, the Bamboo bushes obstructed the view of traffic coming from the left and should be trimmed for safe entrance to the road. The site is listed as Private, but within about 12-15' of the patio table was parked car in the driveway of the house next to the site! A man and young girl came out in the morning to get into the car while we were at the table which does not give the privacy stated. The same house also has a large light attached to the house and above the driveway which was on throughout the night. Sorry that I cannot give a better review. We learned that there is truth in the saying, "You get what You pay for!"

This was a great and convenient spot for our camper. Host was very helpful getting set up. Has water and electric and relatively private spot. Had to cut our time short but will go back again!

This was our second stay and we continue to love the it! The site is very well-maintained and the host are very kind, responsive and laid back. It’s close to shopping and grocery, as well as an easy Uber to Lancaster. We hope to camp there every time we head to Lancaster County in our rig.

Nice spot, close to Lititz PA. Fire pit, wood and comfortable seating areas. Quiet and dark. Enjoyed our stay.

Bamboo Field RV Site
The site was cute, clean, and well kept. It has a fire ring and a table and chairs. Privacy was provided by fencing and a bamboo stand. The site pad was stone…. So no mud.. nice and clean. Very convenient to downtown Lititz….a cute little town in Amish country. Would highly recommend!

We had a great experience camping here! The owners were very friendly and responded immediately to any questions we had. This was a great site! Very clean and well maintained. Electricity and water were an added bonus. I will definitely come back when in the area.

Kate and David’s property is beautiful, meticulously maintained and in a great location. There are tables, umbrellas, plenty of seating and a large fire pit, with tons of beautifully dry wood available. It is peaceful spot, with easy access to Lititz and Lancaster. Kate and David are kind, gracious and welcoming hosts. Looking forward to camping there again!
