We had a wonderful two-night stay at Paix Cabinette with Host Karen. I visited with my daughter, and from the start, Karen was incredibly communicative. She responded quickly to all my questions and was very accommodating when I needed to adjust our dates, which I really appreciated.
The site itself was peaceful and well laid out. Even in early spring, before everything had fully grown in, we still felt a great sense of privacy. The cabin was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. There was plenty of firewood provided. Also, there was a picnic table and chairs for around the fire.
Every night we could hear owls nearby, which was such a cool experience and made the stay feel even more connected to nature. Access to the cabin and the bathroom in the main house was convenient, just a short walk away, and the bathroom was clean and well maintained. It made the experience comfortable while still feeling like a true getaway.
My daughter absolutely loved the trip and has already been asking when we can come back, which says everything. The space felt very safe and family-friendly, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone traveling with small children. I also appreciated that the cabin locks. It added a nice sense of security. I had seen some comments about the bed being short, but at 5'6", I had no issues at all.
Overall, this was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommend!

We loved staying in the solace cabin. It was quiet and the entire farm was beautiful. Our son ran around in the woods and we made soup over the fire, we’ll definitely be back in the warmer months 😊

Solace Cabinette
We had a very nice time. It was perfect for what we were looking for. The staff was great. The surrounds were beautiful. We saw wild life up close. Strongly recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing get away.

I rented the tiny cabin for 2 nights, and while it’s a lovely off-grid setup exactly as described, the temperatures dropped extremely low during my stay. Because the cabin has no heat, electricity, or running water, it wasn’t feasible to stay there in that kind of cold.
The host was gracious and immediately helped us pivot to a room at her bed-and-breakfast on the same property so we could remain safe and comfortable. Although we didn’t get to stay in the cabin itself, the property is stunning — wide open views, peaceful surroundings, and a true escape from the city.
I’m very grateful for the host’s quick help and hospitality. I’d absolutely return in better weather to enjoy the cabin properly.

Lovely host. We ended up staying here because our campground got canceled. We were prepared to camp so we enjoyed the fire pit. It was a very cold stay due to weather, but it was very nice getting to have a proper BnB breakfast.

I stopped at Karen’s cabin as a place to sleep on a road trip, and it was lovely! Not too far off highway, the cabin felt secluded yet safe, and the property was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again!

A cute short walk away that makes you feel like you are in a wooded area but close enough that it is easy to bring all you need from the car! Loved it! Cabin was cute and very nice

This place is healing. Great for getting a good recharge every now and then. They offer breakfast at the cabin that is really good. I felt relax here.

I loved the little cabinette because it lets so much light in. It was a great place to stash my stuff too. It’s a beautiful location and convenient setup, not far from civilization. Fire pit and cooking grate worked well for me. Karen also makes a wonderful breakfast at the B&B which campers can opt into. Next time I’m headed up that way, I hope to try out the B&B for a night.

This was a fine little spot! I simply overnighted on a road trip and it was just what I needed. Easy to find, pretty secluded, & Karen was a clear communicator. I was able to hear some street noise in town in the distance (though I'm a country bumpkin who is really sensitive to street noise! & this probably wouldn't bother most). Appreciated knowing that amenities (running water, breakfast) were nearby in the B&B.

Nice little spot, would recommend for cooler weather because it gets a little warm inside the cabin. No electricity so its like camping without the tent which is good for me..

I've been staying here off and on throughout the summer for work and it's still a place I'd come back to. The bed is comfortable, the mosquitos have simmered down, the birds are cheerful in the morning, and there is a barred owl that greets the evening with a few hoots. I love having a safe place I can lock my belongings while I'm out and about over the course of my stay.

This cabin was exactly what we were hoping for- quaint, tucked away within the gorgeous grounds, and super intimate. Karen and Sean were super warm, accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend for an unplugged, intimate retreat!

The site was accessible but seemed to be remote thanks to the thick trees. The bed was very comfortable.
The area was a nice change from the Poconos with small town and rural appeal.

I had an outstanding experience surrounded by beautiful grounds and welcoming staff. The relaxing atmosphere made it perfect for unwinding, and I loved enjoying a campfire while listening to the soothing sounds of wildlife. Waking up to nature's symphony was truly peaceful. I'm already looking forward to returning soon!

The cabinette is adorable and it gave us a break from tent camping and worrying about the weather. The bed and breakfast was also peaceful and Karen makes a mean omelette!!
Even though the location is in a rural area there was a lot of loud motor sounds, even in the night. It sounds like dirt bikes but I am not sure - just something to be aware of.

It was easy to find and the area was absolutely beautiful! Karen was very good at communicating directions as where to park and bathroom facilities. We were needing a place for an overnighter as we had long days of driving so it was an easy off/easy on the highway. Thank you for your hospitality.

Solace Cabinette
We stayed here on our drive home after camping for 7 days, so it was nice to have a bed! Cabin was clean & the sound of the rain hitting the roof was so relaxing. Karen’s directions to the cabin were clear. We opted into breakfast at the bnb the next morning and Karen was able to make it to go since we had a 7 hour drive, which we appreciated! Beautiful property overall!

The cabin was as advertised, however the directions for finding it weren’t so clear. We got to the site kind of late and had a hard time finding the cabin and the restroom. In the morning it did smell like an outhouse outside, which was a little off putting.
The clear roof was really cool at night with the rain and the site felt relatively private.

Cozy and comfortable. I stayed during a work trip and it was a perfect place to set up as home base. Even was able to do my zoom calls from the picnic table. It also felt safe as a solo femme traveler, which was clutch. Planning on coming back.
