Camp near our beautiful creek, on grassy level land. We offer four campsites only, spread out over a large area, so you're guaranteed plenty of space, shared only with the occasional wildlife.  When it's hot, take a dip in the swimming hole, warming-up afterwards around your own private firepit. It's a peaceful spot here at Mooral Creek, with rich farmland amid rolling green hills, and plenty of options for walking and exploring. Great country for horseriding!  No toilet here so campers must be fully self-contained and take all waste with them.  We're located 20 minutes out of the charming historical village of Wingham. Here, you'll find all the essentials, plus pub, museum and access to the stunning Wingham Brush Nature Reserve, home to a colony of grey-headed flying foxes and fig trees.  Spectacular Ellenborough Falls is a 45-minute scenic drive away and makes a great day trip. Or visit the Macadamia Farm just down the road and get freshly roasted Macadamias and other yummy produce!  Pets welcome but please keep them on a leash and ensure they won't disturb the wildlife or other campers.  We do not have good phone reception here - which is great to disconnect! If you really do need to contact the outside world, you can find reception just up the road near the Mooral Creek Hall.

Hidden Valley Creekside Camp
Absolute gem
My pup and I camped right next to the waterhole and absolutely loved every second of it. We were lucky that we had all the place for ourselves. There is no reception at the camping spot so if you want to get in touch with Glen make sure doing before leaving Taree.

Amazing spot, great price
Absolutely beautiful location, nice and quiet spot to rest and a great creek surrounding the grounds. Glen is a wonderful host and a great bloke. He helped me try to set my tent up in the rain before my things got to wet and when they eventually did get soaked he very generously offered a room at his house on the property. Glen’s kindness and generosity really made it an unforgettable stay. An amazing property being taken care of by an amazing bloke and a great price, if I’m in the area again I know where I’ll be staying. Thanks Glen mate, appreciate it👍

Great place
We had all weathers, sunny, rain and a terrific thunder storm on our 2 night stay but what a place ! Lucky for us we were the only campers. We had a great time relaxing and walking along and in the creek. We had a camp fire which we love. Our dog had a great time too. It was peaceful with lots of birdlife. This is a place we will revisit. Glenn was a great host.

Hidden Valley Creekside Camp
This was a good general campsite. The main attraction is a lovely creek that runs by Glen's property. At the end of the field furthest from the road is a great access point to the creek and a deep enough area to swim in, this spot is fairly private. The camping area is sizeable, but if multiple campers are present you will be within 100m of each other or so. As some other campers were present we setup closer to the road (which wasn't busy) and spent our afternoon in inflatable inner tubes drinking a few beers in the creek. We had a good time and enjoyed our stay. Glen was a good bloke and we appreciate him opening up his slice of paradise to others. Thanks.

Hidden Valley Creekside Camp
The site was recently used for horses,,, horse shot everywhere… very uneven camp spaces and 10 inches of grass ,,, not good.. if it was the heat of summer wow… met the owner .. really nice guy but a little attention to detail is needed .. good luck, and the creek could do with some invasive weed eradication 🤷‍♂️ Hate to be brutally honest..

Beautiful peaceful spot. quite remote if you don't mind driving a ways over a bumpy dirt road. You may see a platypus at the creek & the horses will keep you company all night with their peaceful munching. Glen was gracious and friendly.

A pleasant place to camp
Very pleasant place- nice and flat grass camp area, next to a clean river for swim/ bath/ fun. The place is far enough from city lights so we could enjoy the beautiful night sky stars, what can be better than having a beer with camp fire and the view? Love the quiet and peaceful environment. I camped there for 3 nights and felt relaxed and recharged. Glen is friendly and nice, thank you Glen! His dogs are very welcoming to the campers too, those happy dogs like belly rub. LOL No toilet there but we just brought ours, not a problem. Would like to go again! A place recommended :)

Great drive into an interesting area. Large grassy paddock but only one spot had good access to the creek. Could do with clearing a few more spots, but would be great for a large group

Beautiful creek!
Great little spot in one of the most picturesque parts of the Manning Valley. We only had 1 night here but it would make a fabulous weekend camp spot for a family with young kids with the creek is so accessible and shady. No facilities provided and no chopped wood.

Nice spot near a freshwater creek sharing the horse paddock. Enough wood around for two of us for the night but no state forest around to collect large amounts of wood if planning a longer stay or bigger group. Lovely open area for star watching. House was within view but far enough away to have a bit of privacy. Beautiful scenery driving in from Wauchope side.

Relaxing, peaceful and natural
What a peaceful location! Glen is an awesome host and met us on arrival and then again on our last day, he even gave us a bag of oranges and mandarines from his trees. The creek beside the camping area is beautiful and the sound of the creek is so relaxing. Would recommend for anyone looking for peace and seclusion.

Hidden Valley Magic🏕🌄
Wonderful level grassy sites right by the fresh flowing creek. Perfect spot to sit back and enjoy a slower pace. No phone service which is a plus for us😁. Close enough to town for supplies if needed. The million star view was spectacular, as was the flying fruit bat display at dusk.

Beautiful spot to stay. Creek provides plenty of shade and enjoyment. Glen is a legend, so helpful and welcoming, we can't wait to get back there for another trip. Plenty of space for our large soft floor campers, on surprisingly flat ground for a paddock!

Quiet bush camp with water & views
It was easy to find, peaceful right next to the creek with a beautiful view of the mountains. If you are after a true bush camp with views and water than this is the one. Glen was friendly and only too happy to help with any questions. We will definitely be back.
