Welcome horse campers and overnight haulers! The pond and gathering areas are currently under-construction. Firewood available for a small fee. Excellent star gazing and watching fireflies. Listen to the crickets and the frogs down by the steam. Places to hang hammocks, corn hole, horse shoe and plenty of outdoor walking space. Pull your RV in for a quick layover or settle in for the week! 3 miles to downtown, grocery, & supplies 3 miles to Outlook Golf Course 11 miles from Ogunquit Beach 14 miles from York Beach 16 miles to Kittery Outlets

This was a very open site. Host was very personable and friendly. We arrived in the rain and were offered accommodations. We ended up just finding a nice flat spot and had a nice camp stay. Quiet besides the occasional train which is very near, spacious, private, and one of the first sites of our roadtrip to also have cell service so that was a plus to have for emergencies!

Simple accommodations… we parked in our camper van in a spot in the field, which was all we needed. A quick one night stay 20 minutes from Ogunquit. Would do it again!

The host met me when I arrived and was very friendly, offering the freedom to set up my tent wherever I liked. He also let me now the hours that a bathroom in the house would be available. The downside is that the property is located between a state highway and a railroad track. Which results in a quite a bit of noise throughout the night. When I tried to use the bathroom in the morning, the door was locked (well after the time he said it would be available).

It was great to get to a quiet, peaceful, dark place after the hustle and bustle of the beach. We appreciated being able to let our dogs be untied some. The hosts generously have a toilet in the house they let us use. Thank you

Great property and friendly hosts welcomed us as we rounded the bend to our Primitive Escape. It was a quick overnight for us, but we plan to return and really experience the open space. Opting for the field over the water, we look forward to camping along the stream on a future visit. We will definitely be back and look forward to seeing the property’s vision develop.
