Sandia was the original owner and mother medicine woman of the land who passed away in 1998 ♾💜 so as homage to her we call it Sandia Ranch. The Mesa portion of Sandra Ranch was used by the elders of Harbin to set people on there vision quest in the old days. After sitting with grandma out on the cliff a while ago talking about how this place needs to be shared once again.... so it was decided to open it up to you all in honor of the great spirit and of the tribe! ♾❤️ Learn more about this land: Come pitch your tent or bring an RV. Your camp site is at the end of the road and very private. The main house is pretty much out of sight but close enough if you need anything. The views of the mountains, Jerusalem Valley and soda creek are amazing and endless!! Our ranch is nudest friendly and Harbin hot Springs is 20 minute drive from the Mesa. Your campsite has a cast iron tub for soaking day or night and an on demand hot water heater power shower when solar is not available. Water is piped to camp however we are an absolutely NO camp fire camp until further notice. Thank you for understanding ♾🙏 This is a ranch with many animals including four sweet but dirty dogs, a pony, goat, 4 ducks, 3 turkeys and a few chickens running around.... Although they all hang out by the main house for the most part you might be visited by the free rangers...especially if you dish out any petting be prepared to give some more 😂 If animals aren’t your thing just tell them to go home they understand that! Because of the high amount of animals here that are free range dogs are not allowed at this time sorry..... anyone under 18 must be under parental supervision at ALL times. The cliffs here are very dangerous and must be respected by all ages with a safe distance back of five to ten feet from the edge at all times. In the cabin there is one very comfy Cal King size foam bed with fresh sheets however pillows and bedding is on you. There is one glass top dinner table with four chairs outside of the cabin. If the cabin is not your thing we also have space for one small RV on site(no hookups or electric provided). There is no fridge or drinking water on site(our water is great for soaking but it contains a little bit of sulfur which doesn’t make it suitable for drinking) so please bring your cooler and enough drinking water for your stay. Your camp site is at the end of the road and sits back 60 feet from the cliffs edge. The main house is pretty much out of sight but close enough if you need anything. The views of the mountains, Jerusalem Valley and Soda Creek are beautiful and endless!! The stars at night are out of this world amazing! Soda creek is a short walk down the hill however drys up by July/August… Our ranch is nudest friendly and Harbin hot Springs is 28 minute drive from the Mesa, We have 6 big sweet but dirty ranch dogs. They all hang out by the main house for the most part however you will be visited by these free rangers, especially if you start petting them be prepared to give some more pets 🤣 If animals aren’t your thing just tell them to go home they understand that. Because of the amount of animals here that are free range…all dogs except service animals are not allowed at this time. Any person’s under 18 must be under parental supervision at ALL times! The cliffs here are very dangerous and must be respected by all ages with a safe distance of five to ten feet from the edge at all times. There also is an 8 x 8 tent/Yoga platform and a 4 x 8 tent platform for extra guests. We meet all our guests at a designated spot close to camp that your GPS will guide you to accurately please do not try and find us on your own. Most cell phones have great reception once you are here. We shut down for the hot dog days of summer unless it is going to below 90° in the forecast so we look forward to seeing you in the spring, fall or winter months. After many years off line we are back and very excited to be hosting once again! We have a newly constructed 8x12 cabin with laminate floors. The cast iron tub with on demand hot water is right out back of the cabin. In the cabin there is one very comfy Cal King size foam bed with fresh sheets however pillows and bedding is on you. Serenity on the Mesa
Serenity on the Mesa is so aptly named! The quiet serenity and picturesque views made it the perfect escape from the city grind. My group especially loved the cabin with views of the valley during the day and an endless blanket of stars at night. The host Uriah is very welcoming and a really cool dude- I can’t wait to come back!

Amazing site for camping and night sky. The cabin and mattress were very comfortable. Uriah was an exceptional host and we enjoyed our conversations as well as the tea!

Lovely spot and friendly host! The cabin was convenient for not needing to deal with a tent, sleeping pad, etc. It's sealed well with nice windows - just don't expect to sleep in much in the summer once the sun starts heating it up. The dogs are big and excited to hang out with you :)

14 of my closest friends and I stayed on Uriah’s property for my bachelor party. It was one of the best camping experience we could have asked for. Uriah was so welcoming and made us feel comfortable right away, letting us know that we would be as loud as we wanted and have as much fun as we wanted as long as we stayed safe. We had a great day and night of celebration, and it was all due to Uriah’s warm hospitality and beautiful property. I highly recommend this HipCamp to anyone with any group size, you will not regret it. We are already planning our next trip to come back! Thanks again Uriah!

Uriah’s property was the perfect place to rest & unwind. He was a generous & gracious host and made me feel right at home. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for a place that's off the beaten path, with great views and a safe place to camp out for a night or two.

Uriah’s space was such a beautiful retreat! We had a lovely time in the cast iron tub overlooking the Jerusalem Valley. We made our way down to Soda Creek to enjoy the water, valley views, and sunshine. The weather for our weekend was perfect and we enjoyed a night of stars and days of blue skies and puffy cloud coverage. The dogs were fun visitors and very sweet. The goat and chickens came by periodically too. Uriah was such a wonderful host, easy to communicate with, and made us feel so at home on the mesa. Thank you for all the blessings! 💗💗💗

Uriah is the most generous and gracious host I've ever had the pleasure to stay with. I only had an opportunity to camp on the Mesa for one night with a friend of mine, but it was a beautiful night and we will definitely be visiting again. Uriah met us in his truck before the asphalt turned to dirt and led us up to Serenity, just a few minutes away He gave us a tour and answered any questions I had about the land. The grounds are not too far from the home, and were very well kept. Anything we needed was just a text message (or a gentle stroll) away. The views were breathtaking, and the hot water was extra hot. I took a midnight soak in the outdoor tub while looking up at the stars and I felt so so good the next day. Spent a relaxed morning looking over the edge of the mesa drinking tea and playing guitar. This is a magical place... This is sacred ground and it has a good steward. Thank you to Uriah for making it available.

Camping at Uriah's was the perfect way to unwind and lived up to its name: serene! The views stretch for miles, the area is rich with geological history and onsite rockhounding. Uriah and Tamara are excellent hosts, both welcoming and informative about the local area, features and land. Your campsite will have its own platform if you are tent camping as well as its own mineral water bathtub. The views are glorious and soaking in the tub is an amazing way to wind down the day. The mineral bath ensured the best night's sleep I have had in some time. The last few miles are bumpy and potholed but completely doable in a 2 W drive. Trust Uriah's directions and you'll have no difficulty. Also, do be prepared for potential wind as you will be high above the valley. Use your guylines!

The bluff has fantastic views, and I would definitely stay here again. Uriah was incredibly kind, and took time out of his day to teach me about the edible and medicinal plants that grow in the area. The soaking tub was also fantastic under the stars. 10/10

So glad I chose this spot! So sweet to have baths under the stars & in the morning, and the subtitle is true - the view for miles is amazing! Waking up to sunrise here was such a treat. And Uriah was a great host - met me at the main road to lead me through the back roads (yes, bumpy & dusty), made sure the bath water heater was all set & checked on what I’d be needing, & was friendly. Was sweet to have a dog & goat nearby for my morning too.

Amazing views, amazing host, and totally loveable animals. The location is quiet and off the beaten path but still only a short distance to Clear Lake or Harbin. Favorite part of the stay was the hot bath in the tub under the trees. ❤ Uriah was so nice and gave us hiking tips and made us feel so welcome. Wonderful experience.

Great spot if you need a spot with a view. We watched the Perseid meteor shower from the cliff at night and enjoyed the beautiful views of the valleys below during the day. Very friendly animals roamed the site and the amenities were fine. Would be a great spot for a couple or even a group retreat for like 20 people! Bonus: didn't see any mosquitos!

The host was friendly and very helpful. The creek he recommended was nice and cold, and full of fish. It was though to get there though because of the single lane, rocky dirt roads but we made it fine in a 4x4 truck. The views from the mesa were the best part! The full moon and star gazing was great, and very private since we had the place to ourselves. Lots of playful dogs running around added to the positive vibe.

Uriah is such a gracious host! His private mesa overlooks a beautiful cliff with sweeping views of rolling hills and a creek valley below. Our campsite was very private with a ton of space to park/set up camp. Uriah has a bathtub and a bag shower set up that was a wonderful addition, it was really nice to be able to rinse dirty hands or feet or just cool down from the hot sun. Uriah was incredibly accommodating and helpful, brought a grill and towels up to our site without us asking! In addition to the views and the hospitality, one of the best parts of our stay was Uriah's 4 happy, sweet farm dogs that loved being pet and were super relaxed and content to hang with us! Highly recommend this site!
