Private access to the Cosumnes River, with plenty of beach space, is just 1/2 a mile walk from the camp zone. Unique, beautiful view. Just a short drive from Sacramento and Amador CountyCamp under the stars just minutes from Sacramento. Access to a private beach along the Cosumnes River! Pitch a tent or pull in your RV to enjoy a stay within an organic walnut orchard. Enjoy a flat, dirt area to park and set up camp. Explore the 55 acres of 30-year old walnut trees. Take a quick 1/2 mile hike to the Cosumnes River to enjoy water activities on a private beach. Or just sit back, relax, and enjoy the peace and quiet. There is plenty of wildlife to view and enjoy, in their natural elements. From deer to turkeys, ducks and squirrels. You may even see bobcats or hear coyotes. (don't worry, they are afraid of people!) There is access to a water faucet for fresh water, or to hook up an RV. Remember, this is a working farm, so there are tools and equipment around, but please don't touch! Some areas may be muddy due to rain or irrigation. Please understand this is a working farm so some farm activity may be occurring. We will let you know if any area is inaccessible during your stay. Come watch the walnuts throughout the seasons: Spring bloom, Summer growing, and Fall harvest. So much to learn and explore on over 50 acres! Just a short drive to Elk Grove, Folsom, Sacramento or Amador County, there's plenty to do nearby while having a country retreat to call home for the night. Rancho Murieta is a short 10 minute drive away, with a grocery store, numerous restaurants, a parts store and a gas station, you aren't far from everything you may need. *Generator Available for Rent. Firewood may be available for purchase. Contact host prior to arrival to confirm.
