Do you want privacy? I'm talking about privacy where you can't even see other campers. Just nature all around you. Silence, crickets, so many stars in the dark open sky- take it in. We are only 15 minuntes out of Oakdale CA but feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Within 30 minutes of wineries, Gold Rush towns, rivers, lakes, casinos- so many experiences! Tranquility and adventure all in one.
Yosemite- We are right on the way, (1.5 hrs to the East) and the Historic Knights Ferry (5 mins. to the West)
Three lakes (Tulloch, Don Pedro and New Melones) are within 30 minutes as well. We have so many destinations within an hour of our campground- a list is provided at each site.
Surrounded by volcanic rock, rolling hills, plateaus and cliffs high atop the Stanislaus River, this 80 acre property seems surreal in many ways. Each campsite is totally private and the 360 degree views offer delightful sunrises and sunsets, not to mention amazing stars at night.
There is active wildlife on our property, a whole family of deer are residents of the area, and cotton tail rabbits and hawks are abundant. Come stay with us.
(We are on an off-grid homesteading adventure on our property, so if you would like to see our solar/water/living/ garden set-up, we'd love to show you around!)

Rock Point Haven
Great hip camp and great hosts!
I had a great time staying at Meg's hip camp! I loved the little additions they had at the camp like the string lights, hammock, and the rock painting kit. Meg and her husband were also great hosts and came to visit me after dinner to see if I needed anything. Would highly recommend staying here! I also spent a ton of time laying in the hammock watching the Stars.

Rock Point Haven
We had a wonderful stay on Meg’s land, in our camper van at the Rock Point Haven site. Gorgeous views and the night sky was incredible. Meg is a very kind host and even set out an extra pop up shade for us since we had some very hot weather on arrival. The site itself was super clean and well kept.

Rock Point Haven
Simple but beautiful
We really liked this site, it was so nice to be completely isolated and the surroundings, sunsets, and stars were very pretty. Loved the hammock too!

This site is great. It felt super private from the other camp sites. While there isn’t a lot of “stuff” there, everything the hosts have done is incredibly thoughtful and very clean. ( seriously that was the cleanest portapotty I’ve ever seen.) The host stopped by to say hello and was incredibly kind to my dogs. I would absolutely stay there again.

Peace and quiet
If you want seclusion and peace this is the place. Large site with a table, solar lights, hammock and more. You don't see the other two sites they are far from each other. Easy to get our 32' trailer there. Plus rock painting and just relaxing under the stars. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Would stay again.
