Private 35 acre campground surrounded by rolling hills, mountain views and open sky. Secluded nooks for solo campers and large areas for up to 300 of your closest friends. The sunsets and sunrises are spectacular year round. Stars and open skies that you'd be hard pressed to find anywhere else in southern California. Just 15 minutes from Temecula wineries, 40 minutes from the alpine, artsy town of Idyllwild in the San Jacinto Mountains, and just 15 minutes from the 215 in Menifee toward Hemet. Best camping from early autumn to lush springtime where we have great wildflower blooms. Cooperative managers Jim and Dawn host campers who want to enjoy nature, participate in permaculture gardening all while off-setting their travel footprint. Fees are used to plant trees and enrich the land. The property is a restorative ecovillage (turning severely damaged land into an oasis of hope) where we invite you to participate in creative local solutions to our larger global problems. * If your group is larger than six adults, pease visit our group listings page. If your group needs special privacy and sound requirements and you'd like to reserve the whole campground, you will need to contact us directly. * Sites are available on a first come, first serve basis. * Our pricing is $20 for the first person and $15 for all additional adults. Kids 10 and under are free when accompanied by an adult. Firewood, hot showers, ice available as Extras. Other services like catering are available. Thanks!

Site 4 - EcoShire Standard Tent Sites

Truly a lovely campground!

This camp ground is a peaceful respite for the tired and weary! It is a spacious open landscape with little farm animals, ( with permission of course, we fed the goats) lots of walking or biking paths, and beautiful scenery to breathtaking to describe. Jim is a warm and welcoming host! It’s like seeing an old friend! The grounds are quiet, simple, with just the right amount of interaction. The amenities are clean and there are options to choose from; indoor plumbing or well appointed porta potties. You determine how much you want to interact or not. We even got to see rope fire spinning! It was amazing!!! We would love to return for a longer stay. It was just what we needed for a quick rejuvenation of the body and mind.

Site 3 - EcoShire Standard Tent Sites

Excellent place! We were tent camping. Assuming it’s a quiet weekend, it’s extremely relaxing & peaceful. They do also have gatherings sometimes, which sound like fun too. I think the hosts will let you know. Host Jim gave me a quick golf cart tour and we got to pick a spot. They will definitely help you out as much as they are able & available. Very welcoming and hospitable. Our site was secluded, had a shade sail, picnic table, and its own water spigot. There are composting toilets, and if you’re willing to cruise down a bit further to the central area, there are flush toilets and showers. There are lots of interesting things happening around the property. If you’re feeling social, they have welcoming shared areas for cooking, eating, and connecting. I’m a bit of an introvert I really felt at ease there. I liked that we could either socialize around the table, or retreat to our quiet spot way out back. This place is nurtured by really good people, they appreciate & enjoy meeting new people, and that was the best part… along with the serene & beautiful nature of the property of course. It’s a little oasis for the soul and I definitely look forward to returning.

This place is great! Get standards for the planet. Jim and family are creating a beautiful environment here. It’s peaceful, the wildlife is everywhere. The morning I left I witnessed a hawk catch it’s prey and I was able to hear it screeching with happiness as it flew away over the horizon. Oh and they have goats. So you should come! Good vibes! I highly recommend this place! 🙏🧚‍♀️😊
