This property is located in a small community of houses about 10 minutes away from downtown Weaverville. Weaverville has bakeries, art galleries, grocery stores and several restaurants. Things you should bring: Pillow(s) and sleeping bag or full-sized sheet set + warm blankets appropriate for weather. Towels/washcloths. A bag of ice for the cooler. 1lb propane cylinder for stove. Food/drinks. Firewood for campfires. We provide a porta potty with hand sanitizer/toilet paper. A hot shower (a propane instant hot water heater) both located at the parking area. There are also plugs to recharge electrical devices and also lanterns to use located at the parking area. There are 2 spigots on the property with drinkable water. We provide the cookware, tableware, coffee cups, french press, salt/pepper, a kitchen towel, a fitted sheet, and recycling/trash can.The Honey Hut is a 10x12 insulated shelter (no heat) with outdoor deck on our 3-acre property.  The Hut is off-grid with solar lighting and a camping shower.  There is a large yeti cooler to keep food safe and cool.  Also, a 2-burner propane cook stove and fire pit.  There is a full bed with a fitted sheet for a sound night's sleep. A porta potty is onsite. There is a water spigot with drinkable well water. This glamping hut is packed with amenities for a comfortable stay.   The Honey Hut is great for single or couple travelers wanting to get away to the mountains. It is located across the road from Claxton Farm, and only a few miles from downtown Weaverville and 20 min to downtown Asheville.  Weaverville is a cool little mountain town with nice restaurants, a wonderful bakery, grocery stores, and gift shops.  Area attractions include the French Broad River, Blue Ridge Parkway, Navitat, hiking/biking trails and local breweries. Things you should bring:  Pillow(s) and sleeping bag or full-sized sheet set and blanket. Towels/washcloths. A bag of ice for the cooler.  Food/drinks.  (You may want to pick up some kindling and firewood for a campfire.) We provide organic dish soap and organic body soap for the solar shower (cool water). The propane will be provided for the 2 burner cook stove along with firewood for fire pit.  We provide the cookware, tableware, coffee cups, french press, salt/pepper, olive oil, 2 gallons of drinking water (can be refilled), paper towels and trash can. There is a plug at the parking lot if you need to recharge any electric devices.

Pets allowed
Off leash, on leash. Please bring only one, quiet, well behaved pet. There is plenty of space to walk your dog around. They can be on or off leash depending on your dog. We just ask that you bring well-behaved dogs and that they are not left at the campsite while you are out. We have 2 friendly pets that may visit--Sam, our senior golden retriever, and Pam, our grey tabby cat.

Spigot, pump or well. There is a spigot to refill water supply. That water comes from a well, and we have containers that you are welcome to use.

Cold water only. There is a solar shower that works well, but is not hot.

Recycling bin, trash bin. There is a trash bin at the hut.
Cooking equipment present
Grill over firepit, private, stovetop or hot plate, cookware, cooking utensils, basic seasoning and oils, sink or other dishwashing station. There is a 2 burner cook-stove and for cooking. Cookware, tableware, french press, salt/pepper, olive oil, and paper towels are provided. Also a large yeti cooler (bring ice).
