Creative Art of Living is located high in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Nearby Hiking trails and Spiritual Centers are some of the main attractions. Hot Springs are within a half hour drive from the community of Crestone, where we have local shops and art galleries, restaurants, 2 grocery stores and even a gas station. This site is for Garden Cottage, campers (Tent), vans, cars, Loft space Hostel style; and includes use of main house for shower, cooking and laundry. Thank you! Located in the pinon trees with several level tent camping spots and a compost toilet outhouse with a place to create an outside kitchen, living room, with a kiva fireplace and some hammocks/sky chairs to hang out in, overlooking the San Luis Valley with gorgeous views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains. Dark skies with no artificial light, so you can see all the stars at night! The Communal space is for all who camp/car/tent/or other tenants. We share a bathroom, laundry, kitchen. This is for people who need WIFI access and rest up for the next adventure! We all clean up after ourselves and make sure to be safe with food as Bears are present during this time of year. Keep all food in Communal kitchen and pantry area. We also have a large and safe Kia up by the camp spots to have a safe fire. Please be mindful of weather conditions before having one and let me (Zuki) know when you want to have one. Please contact me before booking so we can get clear on any details. This is for tent campers and car campers; I will have my Vintage Red Dale camper also up on this site soon!

Great communal space that Zuki has created. She also went above any necessary expectations and was a great person by offering some advice for bear safety for our nearby hike and suggested we stow my cooler in her space rather than in ny car to prevent a bear-break in at the trailhead, which I thought was very kind of her!

Garden Cottage
We camped on her property and loved everything about our time here. The property is beautiful and we loved that we were able to use the community area to shower and cook. I would definitely stay here again if we ever make it back to Colorado.

This place is an artistic dreamscape. I have been coming to Crestone since 2015 and am so glad to have found this place. Zuki's homestead and community are everything I value and to be able to stay on the land and be part of it is why HipCamp is my preferred way to travel.

The best part of Zuki's place is Zuki herself, who is a lovely & gracious soul & artist. Every part of the site exudes the artful aesthetics & warm spirit. Especially for female & artist travellers, Zuki's place is a lucky find and safe haven, and couples enjoy it very much also. Zuki is also very familiar with the local area and can advise about all practical matters & resources!

My friend and I spent two nights at the tent site. the place is extremely close to trails to access mountains and Willow Lake. it is well kept with a fully furnished kitchen and showers. the host Zuki, she is very welcoming and friendly. I recommend this place to those interested in having a tent site well equipped and so close to the mountains.
