Camp open field, pine grove or completely private orchard setting, all with beautiful mountain views. Only 1 1/2 miles from the Herkimer Diamond Mines. We are welcoming to LGBTQ+ campers, all ethnicities, live acoustic music and 420 friendly in private sites. Secluded, but less than a mile to Stewart's shop for essentials, and 10 miles to major shopping. Close to state parks, biking and hiking trails. Dogs welcome with an additional $10 fee. For a fee we have firewood and generator and tent rentals. Additionally, we have a deluxe equipped pop-up camper available for rent with electricity and running water in the pine grove. From inexperienced campers who might need assistance to experienced campers who just want seclusion, this is the place to be!

Forest Rock Campsite

We are 15 min from Prattsville and the famous Pratt Rock trail/ overlook, Schoharie reservoir and the Long Path hiking trail. Campsite Is a 3 minute walk from parking, shower and bathroom. There is a .5 mile hiking trail on the property. Host will transport your gear to and from campsite. Mountain biking available at Windham and Elm Ridge approximately 1/2 hr away. We have 2 single person kayaks available for use on the reservoir. Discuss rate and free DEC permits with host. A local country store for last minute provisions, brewery and cidery all within 5 - 15 min drive. We have just completed an outdoor shower and bathroom. The Swim Pond at Olin Springs

Cobbleskill is 15 minutes away drive where you can find grocery stores, Walmart and so on. We will supply you with enough firewood for campfire. We do not have a bathroom. There is an outdoor shower and composite toilet. You gonna need to heat up water for taking a shower. For number 2, you need to bring composite toilet bags. Everything you bring, take it with you.
