Creekside RV Park - with Wifi!

Love this place. Dog run, close to I-26 and Ashville and Weaverville. Our 2nd stay here last week. David is a considerate host and the campers are friendly. Flat sites with full hookups.

The property is small which has its advantages. It is landscaped and beautifully kept. It is also level. There is a large grassy area for pets. It is conveniently located to Weaverville, Asheville and Mars Hill.

Site 5 - Creekside Park

Everything is amazing here! Dave and Sheri (spelling?) are wonderful people. The path and Creekside chat spot is a gem. Easy access to many spots.

The Best RV Spot Near Asheville

We loved Creekside! Our pups had a blast playing in the grassy area and running around in the creek. It was quiet, not too busy and very well-maintained. This is by far the best RV spot near the Asheville area. You’re only 20 minutes from downtown Asheville and Marshall, 12 minutes from Weaverville and Mars Hill. There are so many things to check out. I highly recommend and will definitely stay here again!

This site was very easy to find and right off of I-26. A very short 5-10 min drive to cute downtown Weaverville and about 15-20 minutes to downtown Asheville. This spot is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet place to park your RV/Camper close to a lot of great breweries, restaurants, and things to do. The sites are very flat and each one has a picnic table, fire-pit, and access to power, and water. The sites are fairly close together so we didn’t spend much time doing many camping activities (campfire, cooking, hanging out at the site) but we were thrilled to have a safe and quiet spot to park our camper-van and sleep on our weekend visit to Asheville.

Relaxing Retreat with Ammenities

We loved our stay at Creekside #2 in our travel trailer. What a lovely place to unwind and spend some time, with just a short drive to all the attractions in Asheville. The full hook-ups along with picnic table and level gravel parking area made everything effortless for our stay. The exta ammenities of wifi, a dedicated dog park area, and a scenic nature trail along the creek were also most appreciated. Communication with David was very easy, as were his directions. The experience was a 10 out of 10. We look forward to our next stay at this well-maintained retreat!

We arrived after dark and just stayed for the night to break up our trip. It was conveniently located off the highway and was quiet. Since it was so cold and we left early we really didn’t get a sense of the place. Good immediate communication from the owner.

Lovely

Great private small r v campground. Nice folks. Has a sweet little walkabout area with little creek And flowers. Have stayed there a few times I Will definitely return. The only issue I experienced on my last visit was the water in site one Was dirty coming out of the spicket. So I recommend a Water filter and letting the water run a bit before hooking to R. V.. But never had that issue before.

The location was perfect for finding lots of hikes. The property is well cared for and the host is friendly. We would definitely stay again! The camp itself has a very private feel and backs up to woods. It’s located close to roads, but the road noise is minimal.

Overall, I appreciated the friendliness of our hostess. She welcomed us to the camp and explained the absence of her husband. I had had a few minor problems with the water hookup, but had spoken to her husband, David, on the phone and we were able to figure out my error. I believe the amenities were better than many camps offer, electricity, water, sewage and wi-fi. I should also mention there was no "check-in or check-out procedure" identified. On the less than pleasant side there was the fact that directions once leaving the interstate were essentially non-existent. At the exit's stop sign you will find no street signs, you are faced with going relatively straight ahead to a gas station and country store, or turning right or left onto a highway with no apparent driveways, but a road leading from the highway on the left. We spent close to 30 minutes trying to find the driveways mentioned in the sparse directions. When we did find the driveways we were surprised to find that the four "sites" were immediately next to one another and with two houses behind them. At no time did the sites look like the picture on the internet, it appeared that there were four places to park in someone's front yard...not the woodsy environment of that internet photo. The greatest disappointment came from the traffic noise of the interstate highway, which I think was not much more than 100 yards distant from site 1. I do not think My wife and I will return.

Perfect Location

Creekside is in the perfect location. It is close to great food, Asheville and peace and quiet. David was super accommodating and a wonderful host. We will be back for sure. Also, be sure to check out Camden’s Library Coffee House in Mars Hill, it will not disappoint.

Good place to camp near Asheville.

Good camp site with area to exercise our dog. Conveniently located close to the freeway. Very responsive and engaging host(David.) Very friendly neighbor camper who shared he's camped many times with David and very happy with his experience. The trees on the hill behind our camper provided nice shelter. Camper hook ups just fine. Pay close attention to follow the instructions on the pull in and parking signs. A little tight to the neighboring road for us but a very good experience. We recommend for certain.

Really easy to get into and out of campground. Host was really amicable and communicated with us quickly. We stayed 2 nights and used this as our launch pad for Asheville adventures. The sites are close but because of the layout you don’t really feel close to fellow campers. Overall I’d recommend staying here.

Easy access to highway for 20 minute trip to Asheville. . Weaverville also has nice restaurants and also a laundry facility. Very pleasant hosts.

The location is right off of the interstate so it is perfect for an overnight stop as you are traveling through. Or as a base as you tour the surrounding area. It is only about 15 miles from Asheville. The hosts were very kind and communicative. I would certainly stay here again.

Cute spot! Loved the dog area. I was in site 1 and it was a little difficult to back in there with someone in site 2, but we made it work. Great distance from all the things. Mars Hill is such a cute town. Appreciate the hospitality!
