Site 1 - House on the Edge of the Earth
Beautiful Property with Views
The views were beautiful with snow capped mountains surrounded by wild flowers blooming in all directions over the property in spring. It was so quite and peaceful out there. The house had basic amenities, no wifi or tv, for distractions. Opening up the sliding doors gave delightful breeze throughout. Bathroom was clean. It was fun to just wonder around and check out the grounds and have a campfire at night under the stars. Walking distance to The Integratron. There was also convenient store nearby. La Copine is close if you have a reservation. Only 20min drive to Joshua Tree Park Entrance.

Site 1 - House on the Edge of the Earth
Perfectly name. In a good way!!
Not enough ways to say it’s EVERYTHING you never knew you needed in a trip to the desert!! AMAZING in every way!! Sleep on the roof where the darkness blends into Space! Make art in the scrapyard, explore, shower outside, climb the hill/mountain…. then go back to the A/C, shower and rest. I hate to share too much, I want to go back all the time!! It’s perfect! Katie was so helpful and kind. Gave us all the info we needed and more to have the BEST TIME EVER!! Katie you rule!!

Amazing desert property
An amazing location surrounded by open desert landscape and quiet. The house is clean and very light with views of the landscape on all sides. Both rooms along with the main living area have AC which is great when the outside temperature gets hot. We loved exploring the surrounding area and had a great day at Giant Rock! Katie was extremely responsive to all questions and made sure we had a great stay.

Katie’s home was accommodating for our group of 8. It was very clean and spacious. There were plenty of things to explore around her home and we enjoyed the roof access. She was very responsive throughout the whole trip. I would only recommend bringing pots/pans of your own if you planned on cooking. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place! So much to do around the house... The host was amazing I would definitely come back for a noce getaway again. The house is perfect with just enough space. Loved this place so much!
