Large yurt (24ft diameter) great for family glamping (no tent required), personal retreat or group event nestled in the forest on a 22 acre farm. Yurt has one queen bed (with quality linens), one single bed (with linens) two Japanese floor mats, a composting toilet, battery pack to charge phones or use simple appliances, drinking water and a hand washing station. Manchester State Park features a beach, sand dunes, and flat grasslands, with nearly 18,000 feet of ocean frontage. The beach line curves gently to form a "catch basin" for sea debris, which accounts for the volume of driftwood found here. Five miles of gentle, sandy beach stretches southward towards the Point Arena Lighthouse.
One of the main attractions is the excellent steelhead fishing in the park’s two streams, Brush Creek and Alder Creek. The park features a variety of coastal wildflowers, including sea pinks, poppies, lupines, baby blue eyes and blue irises. The park provides habitat for tundra swans. The San Andreas Fault runs into the sea at the park.

Allison and Brian are creating an oasis with a lot of attention to details. It is a beautiful property that is close to many activities in the area.
We attended an event in Tacoma for a day and it was an easy trip.
Communication was easy and quick.
We recommend staying at least a few days. Besides lots of things to do close by, staying at the campsite was so relaxing! You do not want to miss out on the beautiful sauna, the comfortable lounge area or taking a stroll in their small, but magical forest.
We highly recommend staying with Allison and Brian!

Wholly Fig's campsite is a lovely spot set under some maple trees. It was private, quiet, and comfortable. Parking pad was perfectly level for our van. We enjoyed the sunset at the picnic table where the hosts had left some fresh-picked berries, herbs and a sprig of flowers. The hosts were wonderful. They welcomed us as we arrived and again when we departed. This was just what we were hoping for. And we were able to purchase a lovely bouquet of fresh flowers at their farm stand when we left. Thank you!

Beautiful property & yurt and very secluded. Very kind, responsive hosts. I would stay again and would recommend it for a quiet, nice getaway. Just be sure to follow all of the instructions for the toilet and bring the bug spray.

We spent the weekend here and it was everything we hoped for.
For our 4-year-old: nightly campfires with s’mores, all-day hammock time, and trails that were just adventurous enough for little legs.
For the parents: we set up our tent and were blown away by the romantic light vibe. With campfires so peaceful and beautiful.
The host is amazing—instructions were clear, communication was easygoing.
Such a great escape from Seattle. Can’t recommend this spot enough. We’ll be back!

Alison & Brian are caring and considerate hosts. Their new hipcamp offers very clean facilities on a beautiful property. While they’re still working on developing their campsites and hipcamp offering, I would only expect people’s experiences to improve over time. It’s obvious how much they care. For sauna lovers, the sauna is great and gets plenty hot. The cold plunge tubs are refreshing. The shower has hot water and great pressure. It’s quiet at night. Two big towns within 15 minutes, and yet it feels more like a remote or country destination.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this campsite! Since it’s their first year in operation, the hosts are still fine-tuning things and are very welcoming of feedback. The amenities were a major highlight—the sauna and cold plunge were absolutely delightful. While there is only one communal firepit and picnic table for the whole camp, it ended up being a wonderful way to meet fellow campers. They even had all the firewood, kindling, and fire starters thoughtfully prepped and ready to go. A quick tip for future guests: because the campground is still being established, the actual tent areas are very dirt-heavy. I highly recommend wearing closed-toe shoes and socks rather than sandals around camp. However, the upper common area with the sauna, firepit, and picnic table is grassy and relaxing. Also, the individual campsites aren't numbered yet, so it took us a minute to figure out exactly where to pitch our tent. Overall, it’s a great location, and I'm sure it will only continue to get better with time!

We would definitely stay here again! It was easy to find and our host greeted us upon arrival with a brief overview of the site. The A-Frames were super cute and the picnic tables and fire pit were perfect for hot dogs and s’mores. We enjoyed exploring the woods, building fairy houses, playing on the swing set tucked away in the woods and relaxing in the hammock.

The cottage is very sweet, comfortable and definitely hip. The land is quiet and peaceful, while still conveniently located to parks, beaches, beautiful scenery and other attractions on the Kitsap Peninsula and the northeast corner of the Olympic Peninsula. You need to be somewhat self-sufficient to make it work well for an extended stay, even though it is a truly lovely glamping situation. We had our own camp stove and cooking gear, and that helped with the lack of electricity and running water.
